"After all of the hype a out this being THE BEST pizza, it was so sad. Sauce was meh, very ketchupish Sausage pieces were great, pepperoni wasnt the best but the cheese was best described as play doh. Even the crust was tasteless. My dog enjoyed the sausage."

"Tonight was my first experience at this location. I was served a burnt pizza. When I called to inform them of the burnt pizza they kept me on hold. I called back and they put me on hold immediately as they answered the phone. I went back to the location with the pizza. I didn't want my money back I wanted another pizza. The kitchen was closed. The manager offered me a complimentary free pizza which was appreciated but then he proceeded to walk off. I had to ask him about the refund for the burnt pizza, which he did give as well. He never apologized for the inconvenience as if I was in the wrong. As a result, I will not patronize this location again."

Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still return to Lou Malnati's takeout location in Schaumburg. "4/5 stars because I always have to wait 10 minutes longer than the initial told wait time but I literally won't go to any other pizza place. Food is always consistent and amazing. Workers are always nice. I'm not a fan of deep dish so I always get thin crust. It's always amazing and never too soft or hard. It's got the perfect amount of crunchy to it. I wish they had a little bit more toppings, especially bacon."

"After my family has been going to this location for years, I think tonight my Dad and I received probably some of the worst customer service that we have ever experienced. If I could give zero stars, I would. My Dad placed an order for 6:00 online. My Dad conciously ordered early my Mom has a meeting tonight at 7:00 on the our neighborhood board, so we scheduled ahead of time to 6:00. My Dad and I arrived at 5:55, and I went in. I was told by the young woman at the counter that the pizza was not ready yet and it would be ready in five minutes and brought out to the car. Ten minutes had passed, and there was still no pizza. My Dad went in, and when he asked about the pizza, the one woman was confused and then explained that she gave the pizza away. I'm sorry, I get mistakes happen and working in the food industry is not easy, I try to be patient and empathetic? But how do you give away the the same pizza? I gave the young woman the name on the order so how do you just give it away? I think the most appauling thing was the lack of empathy and indifference on the manager's part. There was no resolving of the situation besides to have the pizza delivered to our house which in being curtious means tipping the driver. If you mess up, at least maybe try to resolve the situation and give the customer the money back for the original pizza versus force them to continue with already bad service. The biggest thing I'm upset about is the apathy and failure to be apologetic or make things right especially after being long time customers. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. As a tip to management, Iwould recommend you give a little more care or you will be losing long time customers and business."

"Vs NYC, I'd rate it a 6.5 for Chicago I'll give it an 8.5 ... It was definitely enjoyable but I feel Chicago needs to change it's dough if it truly wants to ever compete with NYC. The cracker crust that Chicago loves was done in a way that was at least enjoyable on this pie, most places have dry gold fish cracker crust, this pie was enjoyable. Would I get it again? Unless a genuine Brooklyn spot moves into town, yes I would. The price was reasonable too. I will say this, the sauce was a top 5 for me and that's including vs NYC sauces , it was salty, had bold tomato taste, and was unique."

"We paid $44.00 for a cold and black hair encrusted large deep dish pizza. I’m 7mo pregnant and I wanted a nice cheesy deep dish. We live 10 mins away and my husband got there 10 mins after the pizza was supposed to be finished. It wasn’t “finished” and he waited.
