"Had a very nice Brunchy vibe! Music jammin as we sat in the bar area close to the open windows with the sunshine and a cool breeze! The food was delicious and unique. The drinks were spectacular and our waitress Kate was amazing! I highly recommend the Marg ! My only complaint would be the packaging of my doggie bag. I really appreciated it being packed for me however I did not appreciate it being stuffed into a very small box! When I opened the box my food was all smashed together...I didn 't know what was what!"

"I made the mistake of leaving my card there overnight as I forgot it somehow. Called that night and they told me I could pick it up when they opened on Sunday. Went in when they opened and they couldn't find it and told me to come back at 3 when the bartender from last night comes back in. So I waited around in the area as I live 45 minutes away. When I get there the bartender tells me to wait until 4 so the guy can open the safe as he was running late. The guy comes and tells me they do not have my card despite what they had said over the phone and for me to cancel my card. Moral of the story is that River outpost does not care for their customers in my opinion. A bit ridiculous that they wasted my entire day but I should have known better to give them the benefit of the doubt. All they had to do was tell me the truth that they lost my card and could have saved me so much time. Very disappointed as I do like the place. No manager came to reassure me or try to make it up to me the entire time I was there, whole situation was a bit ridiculous, such a shame."

"Food was great and so was the scenery but the waitress did not know the menu at all. I had to play 20 questions just to order a drink. She had to go back and forth to the kitchen to check if they had basic sodas and somehow couldn't tell me which soda they had.. I just had to guess and she would run and tell me yes or no. Absolutely crazy to have such a nice establishment at that costly price and the waitress can't even tell you the three beverages they have (it is also not listed on the menu). Would not go back simply because I expect better service from such a nice place."

"An employee suggested I come here when I was in this area. It tried to find a parking lot, so you know it had to be good. Had a large flat bread with the largest shrimps, and the best beer from Beer'd. I wish it had been sold down here! Food was great, staff were great, great views, great atmosphere. I wish it was here!"

"Whilst we enjoyed ourselves we all felt that for what we got the price was exorbitant. The amuse bouche of raclette cheese with a couple of little potatoes and veggies was delicious and frankly we’d have liked the option of more. As far as authenticity, the cheese fondue didn’t have kirsch in it and was served with white bread, brown bread, mini pretzels and veggies. For four people there wasn’t enough. For the main course we had the chicken broth option which came with three cubes of steak, three shrimp and three cubes of chicken. The third course was chocolate fondue which our friends ate but we didn’t want. We requested more cheese and it was brought. The whole meal was for two people. Having experienced the real thing in France and Switzerland for a fraction of the cost, I feel if you’re going to charge those prices then your product better be **** good and honestly it isn’t! Did enjoy the live entertainment though"

"if they are looking for a budget choice for fried fish, this is absolutely the right place. the taste is also good in view of its price. we get the fish and chicken plate. huge proportion, more reasonable price. the offer is juicy and better than some of the offers elsewhere. to be fair, their fried garnel is terrible to avoid at all costs."
