"We had the Chicken Satay appetizer and two orders of Pad Thai. Unfortunately, one of the servers spilled the peanut sauce for the Chicken Satay appetizer all over our table, my new white NFL Shop hat, in my hair, on my new white shirt, and on my wife’s white shirt. We tried to be kind about it, but I now feel I may have not made a big enough deal over it. The servers did apologize to us when it happened, but that was about it. While I do believe that mistakes happen and tried to enjoy the remainder of our meal (after cleaning up in the bathroom), I was still upset that this had happened (I believe understandably). The service was relatively inattentive after that, and at the end of our meal we were even brought the wrong check. While I was eventually able to flag a server down and get our actual check, I was further upset that we were made to sit for additional time due to this.I worked in a restaurant, so while I understand that mistakes happen, I also understand that when they do happen it is important to ensure that anything that can be done should be done so that the guests don’t leave with a negative opinion of the establishment. I was shocked that aside from the few apologies when the accident happened, no gesture was made to us. I would have expected that the $12 appetizer would at least be comped after having over $40 of white clothing covered in peanut sauce to start the evening.I had a very poor experience due to the incident and was not shown the type of apologetic service that I would’ve expected. Because of this I don’t really want to bring my business back to this location, and that sucks because the food was actually very good. I truly believe a small gesture of comping the appetizer would’ve gone a long way, and would have been an easy way to remedy the situation and retain my business. I am very disappointed."
