"I came in and sat at the sushi bar and asked the sushi chef, Will, to make me whatever he wanted to make. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied by the meal that I received, which included fish I have not tried previously and some really remarkable standards like tuna, hamachi, and unagi. Will was gracious, knowledgeable, and above all seemed to me to be very devoted to making me the best meal he could. From the outside (and even from the menu) the restaurant seems like the standard American-Japanese joint: high end appointments, flashy food, not necessarily much to do with traditional Japanese food, but pandering to the crowd that likes crazy sushi rolls or hibachi dining- all of which is fine. But by sitting at the sushi bar and requesting what the chef wanted to make, I got a really remarkable and satisfying meal, as well as enjoying watching Will work and conversing with him. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who might be interested in this kind of dining."
