"I have NEVER had a bad meal at a Mexican restaurant until I ate here. The rice is so dry it will choke you. The beans were gross, too. My chicken burrito was watery and mostly peppers. I had a ground beef taco. The ground beef had zero flavor. It looked and tasted like it had been washed in water after being cooked. Me and my fiance both were very disappointed. With tip, it was 35 dollars. This is unacceptable. I only half way ate the taco and that's because I put so much sour cream on it, it made it tolerable. The waiter asked if I wanted a box. I told him no and that the food wasn't good. He just took the plates away, didn't ask why we didn't eat, didn't try to remake the food, nothing. I WON'T be back"

"Some of the best Mexican foods you have on the west side (via the river for some better and more authentic offers). The restaurant is clean and well furnished and the service is on-point. "a manicotti appetizer and it was really good and fill. although it was around 12, our service was very slow. the workers seemed over, cool environment nothing special, the bar is somehow hidden when they go to the left, that is where it is. I want to come back here and there are 5 stars next time when the service is better. had not received the broth, although they asked us 3 different colors, only thought to get them because they tried to sell us so badly on them and we had no interest in space wasting."

"Placed an order to work for the quinoa salad. Asked for extra dressing got 1 tiny cup only. Tomatoes were white like the core of the tomatoe the greens were so dry hardly edible and very little quinoa. Paid $3 for avocado got 3 slices if that. Threw it all out and went home starving as I already spent $20 plus uber fee. Threw it in the garbage. If you're going to serve food make it edible!!!!!"

"One day, while I was in the area, I learned about the story behind this restaurant when it first opened, and I was fortunate enough to meet the owner. After enjoying the food, I mentioned that I intended to write a review online to share the fantastic and unique flavors I experienced. And I did! I’ll definitely be writing reviews. I have several online accounts where I'll be adding Peppino’s Italian Family Restaurant to my favorites and the pages I follow. I plan to return many times to explore different items on the menu. Unfortunately, I don’t live nearby; I only travel here once or twice a month. I enjoyed two drinks: raspberry lemon drops and a peartini, which satisfied my sweet tooth. I was very pleased overall. I also thought the cheesecake was supposed to be a highlight, but I'm not usually a fan of traditional cheesecake."

"The waiter provided excellent customer service at this restaurant. The Mango Margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks, were delicious. However, the food was not as impressive. The vegetables were burnt, giving them a charred taste, and the supposed crab meat was also slightly burnt. The only dishes I enjoyed were the shrimp and chicken. I would not recommend this place if you're very hungry, but the drinks are definitely worth a try."
