"I'm sure this restaurant is well based on all the personal recommendations I've been given lately. But I wouldn't know, since my wife and I were basically only told to go because there was inappropriate planning of a private party they had today. We'll try again. Edit my wife and I gave Cumberland St Smokehouse another shot yesterday and we were both very impressed. As you can see through the photo taken after the meal, nothing remained in the dish. All we tried was phenomenal and our only complaint was that the Platter subsize was a little small and made us wish more."

"My fiancé and I received a gift certificate at our engagement party in September, and we have not been able to get a table since then!! I check every couple weeks to make a reservation and can't find one before 930pm — they don't allow booking further than two weeks out which is frustrating. We have tried walking in and have been turned around (rudely) by the hostesses every time."
