"We had made a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes for our table at the restaurant. Once seated, it took another 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Unfortunately, when our drinks finally arrived, they were not what we had ordered. There was an additional 15-minute delay for my mom's soup, which had been forgotten. When our entrees finally arrived, I received a dish that I had not ordered and had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct one. We had all ordered the Valentine's Day set menu for $55, which was supposed to include a drink. However, we were charged for the drinks because the complimentary drink was Sangria, a fact that our server had not informed us of. We also had ordered a $32 bottle of Chardonnay, which was removed from the bill as compensation for the various issues we experienced. It was clear that the staff was overwhelmed due to the full house on Valentine's Day, and management should have ensured that there were enough employees to handle the busy night. Despite these challenges, we found the food to be exceptional and the service is usually good. We plan to return when the restaurant is not as busy."
