"My boyfriend and I used to enjoy Blossom when it was on 9th Street in Chelsea. They've since closed down some restaurants and now have two locations, one on Columbus (on the Upper West Side) and one on University just south of Union Square. Whereas the old Blossom was in a fairly dark space, the now location is well-lit and airy. The menu is divided into shareable bites (like the lovely garlic bread we had), small plates, medium plates, and large plates. We also split a Caesar salad with shiitake bacon; the parsnip ravioli, which was very good, but could have used a sauce; and the seitan piccata, which had a bold lemon flavor that I loved. The food was as delicious as I remember from the old place, and the service also nice. I definitely want to come back to Blossom the next time I'm in New York."
