"We took a good friend to Warfield after an Animal Shelter celebration at The Limelight Hotel. The booths are very private and fun, service was impeccable for a pub! The starters are all great and we shared several. Our guest had Shepherd’s Pie, my wife had wonderful scallops and I went for the burger with a fried egg on it, which was just as I ordered it, medium rare. We snuck in a birthday cake for our guest and they served it with polite flourish but no singing. Now that we have been there several nights, we are greeted by name and with warm smiles, which doesn’t often happen, even in the best of restaurants. Warfield is really more than a “gastro-pub” and now open for lunch the last half of the week, so nice to have more options."
