"Bland, greasy, and just makes you ask the question, What did I do to deserve this? First, we tried to address the issues of taste with the manager Sandy. Well, we found her to be very condescending and rude, when we merely tried to discuss the ingredients of the dishes we had one vegan in our party and simply wanted to know if there would be food options for them but instead were assaulted with nasty vitriol! Not everyone eats meat and you are nasty for making us feel horribly!"

I asked for kung pao tofu and they told me they didn't serve it. ordered a Bento box with general tso’s tofu and asked for the vegan substitution they advertising edamame instead california roll. they served me california roll and chicken. I called to complain, and they insisted that it was tofu until they told me to the manager who spoke to the chef, they admitted that they had made a mistake. they have made me a new one and offered me a loan to a future order. when I came back to my hotel room. it was general tso’s tofu, but they served me the california roll again with crabs. obviously the recognition of vegan preferences is not a priority here."

"a picturesque, cozy Japanese restaurant in a suburban part of the city when entering I was met with the lively atmosphere of people who are happyly controversial and alleviate their nudes. I ordered the special: kimchi ramen for a very reasonable . very pronounced kimchi taste: I had feared it would be diluted in the suppe. killer pork recommended by the cash register: light signs for crispness, big taste. seaweed is a beautiful supplement. the selection is incredible here. there are crows, there are rice flours, there is curry, there is sushi. I have to come back more often to see what else I can try."

"I love Moko! While it is not actually a hidden gem (they are consistently busy with takeout orders) the real gem is their restaurant itself! You can easily grab a table most nights and get to enjoy their delicious food and awesome wait staff. They always play good music as well! Their new truffle toro roll (pictured) is amazing and hopefully will stick around on their menu for a long time. Always a 10/10 at Moko."

"Must have been driven out of Metuchen because East Hana blows it out of the water. This tuna smelt an tasted fishy like out of a dirty bay. The spicy shrimp roll is laughable its tempura fried crumbs with a speck of shrimp wrapped in rice nasty! Order from East Hana in Metuchen. This restaurant wont last longer than its predecessor in this town."

"An absolute must go when you want to splurge on some incredible sashimi. The menu is highly curated which may be unfamiliar to those used to the expansive menus of most American sushi joints but I promise the selection will not leave you wanting. If you like variety go for one of the tasting options like the incredible sashimi. The quality of fish is incredible and very generously slices for a truly decadent mouthful every time. The selection of sake, beer, and wine is incredible but if you don't drink much alcohol like me, get the yuzu limeade for a refreshing and bright drink that still feels like something special. Don't skip dessert! Unlike most Japanese restaurants these folks pay at least as much attention to their sweet selection as the savory, offering a handful of really special tarts, cakes, and sorbets. I can see myself coming here just for the chocolate passion fruit tart some time.This meal was genuinely better than almost any Japanese fare I've had the pleasure of eating. "I very very rarely give 1-star reviews, but this can’t possibly be the same spot everyone else is reviewing. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. We get there and the whole place is deserted (on a Sunday! with chairs stacked up inside, completely unswept and dingy interior. Someone comes out and proceeds to let us know they’re open.
