"It wasn't inedible but it wasn't good. I was hungry to try something with good reviews here that I could order for delivery from the DD application. After some searching I found this place. It had decent reviews on DD and delivery prices were very cheap and when I cross-checked reviews on here also were good (4.5 out of 5). I ordered the three taco dinner and got the cucumber-lime drink people were talking about.The DD driver took forever to deliver though it was around rush hour and he got stuck behind a freight train. When I picked up the bag I saw that the drink was packaged horribly. It was in a plastic cup with a lid. However, it should have been wrapped with plastic or in a couple of plastic bags or something that wouldn't spill all over. All it was the plastic cup in a paper bag. Half of the drink was all over the food and everything in the bag holding everything. Thankfully the drink didn't seem to have gotten into the styrofoam container of food. Food seemed decently sized and prepared with decent ingredients. However, the taste just wasn't there. Meat in the tacos was plain and tasteless even piled high with toppings/ingredients.I won't be ordering from them again and I warn others not to make my mistake. 3 Taco Dinner"

"This place definitely worth the time and money spent. The hospitality is always great each time I've gone and the molcajetes are a must have at this place. My family and I ordered the Parillada Mix which is a BIG plate mix of Mexican style garlic shrimp, deep fried breaded shrimp,ranch fajitas, and grilled chicken fajitas. It doesn't come with rice and beans just in case you were wondering but you can order those two as side dishes for your meal like we did. So much food and so much leftover! And that's even when we were a party of 6 people. You will not be disappointed each time you come here and make sure to bring empty bellys when you do."

"I stopped by to grab a quick bite and a drink on a Sunday night. I sat at the bar and waited to get served. It took a while to put in my order no biggie. I ordered 2 steak tacos and a margarita. The tacos were nice and big but no flavor, the margarita was ok. Chips and dip was excellent. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because when I requested for my bill I was told that that my bill was $30. I asked the gentleman why and he said I ordered 2 tacos And adrink. I was like of course I ordered that. I asked how much the tacos were he said $18 dollars. I asked him you want to tell me 2 tacos cost 18 dollars he said yes without flinching. ???? logically you'd think he'd be like that's weird.But noooo I guess common sense ain't common no more. I have eaten in many great Mexican restaurants but never have I have paid $18 for 2 mediocre tacos. I was very applaud but in my nature I did not want to argue so I asked for thereceipt to pay my bill and this is where things changed. He became very hesitant and went to call the other waiter. With my little Spanish from my understanding they messed up. I was behind the counter as I watched them scramble to fixit. A phone call was made blah blah blah ????. After 10 minutes the gentleman fixing the error comes over apologized and offered to refund my money. I am not sure if it was an honest error or whatever it was. I was disappointed with thelack of honesty. I actually love the other Los Molcajetes Bar Grill off Montecito Blvd so I expected a similar experience. Unfortunately not I will not be coming back here."

"This place uplifts and highlights local artists, which is super great to see. Our group got there just in time too. We got seated quickly and the place filled up fast. it was loud and lively. They seemed short staffed (which happens! , and they were attentive, although it took a while to get our full order in and to the table. If I end up here again, I would come around the same time (11 am and sit outside weather permitting. The food was amazing. we had the vegan relleno with whatever side it came with. Since we went with a big group, we got to sample their sides as well. EVERYTHING was uncommon to my palette. The tastes and the textures all mixed together in a symphony of happiness. An appetizer and three meals ran us well over $100. we got drinks separately and would recommend coming prepared to dole out some moolah for this wonderful experience.
