"Wonderful place to meet friends with dogs. They brought 1 husky. We brought 2 huskies and a Leonberger. The patio was very nice and we were the only ones seated in the patio. One waiter seemed afraid of the big gentle giant so another waiter served us. I had adopted one of my huskies from this couple two years ago. Main reason for visit was for them to get to see Kona and how he is doing. It was the perfect relaxing place. I have eaten here a number of times when driving between Orange Co. and San Diego over 40 years. Food has always been great. Didn't know previously that they had a dog friendly patio! All the more reason to eat here rather than keeps dogs in car when cool enough!"

"I have gone here for years when it was Don Jose The food is good but refried beans no longer seem freshly made.Maybe out of a can? The taco shells are no longer seem homemade. Service is good. Will est here again but a little disappointed in the changes. Avila El Ranchito is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area."
