The menu features island-inspired dishes like the Shorebird (a chicken breast sandwich with tomato, lettuce, and pickles) and burgers with surf-themed names like the Longboarder with 1000 Island Dressing or the Pipeline with chili and cheddar cheese. The Tortilla Soup is exceptional and a personal favorite. Unfortunately, sides are no longer included with meals, so fries come at an additional cost. Parking on the street may be limited, but there is a parking garage in the back. The service has always been friendly and prompt, with attentive check-ins from the staff. The restaurant offers a range of dessert options, including Chocolate Lava and Kona Pie. There are multiple TVs for sports viewing, a welcoming bar area with seating and screens, and an outdoor dining patio with a pleasant breeze. Overall, the food may be standard "bar type" fare, but it's tasty enough to warrant a return visit to the Islands Restaurant. 4 stars."
