"Celebrated the end of the 2023 tax season by taking my wonderful new bride to the river for a mini vacation. She had never been to a Bubba Gump shrimp company before, even though there’s one five minutes from home in Anaheim, California. We stopped off here for a fantastic dinner and drinks. Ambience was great, right next to the river. Our server, Brittney M was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions. We started with a couple **** Mary’s which absolutely ROCKED!! Followed by the Run America sampler with different variations of shrimp, such as coconut, fried, great, french fries, etc. Followed that up with the Shrimpers Heaven, which was just fantastic! Highly recommend to all, the food is not overly spicy for us seniors, Did I mention we got together during Covid and have not left each other since?!?! It’s amazing being a senior citizen and getting married! Anyway, highly recommend to all and thank you Brittany for a wonderful evening!"

"Our drink order was incorrect twice. Once is a problem; twice is unconscionable in a fine restaurant. The drink order was handed off to helpers twice and they were clearly not well-trained. In addition, it took more than 30 minutes for the two of us to get the correct drinks. My husband loved his mushroom ravoli; my trout was well prepared and was to have a mushroom sauce but there was very little of it. As a result, it was dry. The overall experience was a disappointment. We love seafood restaurants and had planned to return for brunch the next day with friends. We went elsewhere."

"We're not sure if the high ratings for this place are because of the atmosphere or because of some amazing live music, but the food was incredibly lousy. The Cobb salad says that they use greens. I also specifically requested they use greens when I ordered, just in case they tried sliding in iceberg or romaine. I still ended up getting JUST iceberg lettuce that looked like it came out of the package with the carrot shreds. My sister's grilled tenderloin was tough as rubber, and to make matters worse, the fries seemed like they'd been cooked at least 4 hours before. Unfortunately, we ordered this over the phone and had our brother pick it up for us, if not this food would have been sent back. Highly disappointed with the quality of food, given the reviews listed here."

"I visited this restaurant during the Hall of Fame weekend. I ordered the lamb chops, but was disappointed to find that there were only 3 of them and they were both fatty and tasteless. I was only able to enjoy a few bites before giving up. The $28 price tag was not justified by the poor quality of the meal. The service was also lacking, as our waitress took a long time to acknowledge us and would often disappear for extended periods. I had to go to the bar myself to order a beer, and after waiting for 15 minutes, I had to seek out the waitress for our check. Additionally, the bright lights in the dining area attracted a large number of bugs, causing my dining companion and I to accidentally ingest a few. However, I must commend the bartender, who provided excellent service."

"Waitress was exceptional. The menu has changed in which they took two items off the reel seafood platter but increased the price. The portion of catfish was extremely thin and small and overcooked. The shrimp were small. I wouldn’t pay $30 for a plate here again. I am a frequent customer, however I’ll return but only to have their appetizer then go to Long John Silvers for my fish cravings. The owners really need to take the recent reviews to heart if they want to stay in business."
