"We tried Cafe Dada on New Year's Eve. None of my neighbors had been there before. It is located in the old Ozzie's Coffee Shop, which will bring back memories for longtime residents of Park Slope. The cuisine is a blend of Hungarian and European dishes, featuring a variety of interesting menu items (we went for a special holiday menu). I ordered the beef Wellington, which was fantastic. My daughter had the crab cakes and she found them to be excellent. Other members of our party enjoyed the chicken cordon bleu. The wine selection was good and the appetizers were the highlight of the menu (the roasted paprika was unexpectedly spicy, crispy, and salty!). The menu also featured Hungarian sausage and pickles. We were seated near a guitarist/singer, who was a bit loud and annoying, but it didn't ruin our experience. Overall, we had a great time, everyone left satisfied, and I would definitely return. It's surprising to find such a gem in our local neighborhood!"
