"To our shock, the manager barged in, insisting we leave that safe area to face the dangerous weather. When we asked if we could stay just a moment longer to protect ourselves, he coldly replied, “go to your car and go home.” I explained that we had not yet paid our bill and were unhappy with his treatment. In response, he aggressively ordered us out and told my wife to "stop" questioning his authority. He even called the police on us, loyal customers who have supported this establishment for years.
It’s hard to believe that the manager would prioritize chasing us into a storm instead of ensuring our safety. I sincerely hope the owner sees this review, as we never expected such a terrible experience in a place we have loved for so long. To add to the disappointment, the food and service were subpar, but we were willing to overlook that considering the impact of the pandemic. It’s unfortunate to say that Eventide employs rude managers, and we will not be dining here again."
