"This is the kind of place Nassau Blvd is really desperate for. There aren’t a lot of options to sit down and have a nice meal that feels like a community restaurant. Glad to see they expanded. We were there on a Friday night and the service was pretty slow, they were either short staffed or are still inexperienced with renovation and increased sit down business but the service otherwise was good/accommodating and we enjoyed our food. I hope the strip continues to develop like this because there is such a missed opportunity with the university down the road, the community has seemed very resistant to updated and quality food but it seems as though things are changing for the better. Glad this place seems to be doing well and has been able to add additional texture to the community."

"Pasta section of menu was a little confusing. Most pastas were not printed out and it was a little hard to follow what was verbally conveyed. Ended up having chicken parm which was solid. Ambiance could have been better. Music in restaurant was way too quiet."

"My partner and I decided to try out the restaurant Hop in Jackson Heights. We ended up at a charming little pizzeria where we had a delicious meal. Thanks to a Living Social Deal, I was able to make reservations through Open Table and earn 100 points. Surprisingly, Rocco's pizzeria was not aware they were listed on Open Table, but I reminded them and made sure they acknowledged my visit. Overall, it was a great experience with a good deal and bonus points."

"Yes I would recommend to a friend; however we were there on an off night (I suppose) and the service was terrible, lights were on full blast, and it took 45 minutes to get entries in a sparsely filled room. The appitizers never came, and when asked waiter seemed like he was getting off on it. LOL WTF? We still tipped 20% because we are nice. Not sure if this review is worth anything so let me finish by saying their food is packed with South American flare while also being distinct and exciting by adding twists on the originals.. This is one of the best places in the area."

"I was visiting NYC from Boston with 5 friends for a fun weekend and was told, Villa Mosconi was The Place to eat!; The hostess, dining room, and waiter were lovely and the chefs prepared delicious entrees. None of us were disappointed. I had the chicken marsala paired with their house red which I wish I got the name of, because it was very tasty. Overall, I highly suggest this restaurant.:"

"Delicious food and great service!! We order out a lot from here, but brought our 1 and 4 year old as we were meeting family for dinner. They were so great to our kids and encouraged us to come back. We will definitely be coming back again!!"
