"My two brother and spouse, my husband and I gathered for a special sibling evening. We had been there in early spring and enjoyed the service, the food and the sparse but tasteful elegance. We were very disappointed this time primarily due to the noise level. It was a busy evening and we found we could not have a full table conversation because it was so noisy. This factor alone affected everything. Service was ok but we could not hear the server. Other tables started yelling louder so they could communicate within their group. Dining in such an unpleasantly loud and disruptive environment is simply not enjoyable. I strongly urge the Flats to invest in noise baffles. Wood floors, no window treatments, no carpets,cathedral ceilings make this an echo chamber. If we had an evening that allowed dialogue my scores would be over a 4."
