"Dined here on Saturday, 1/20/24 for restaurant week. Pros: mostly good food, pretty place, nice restrooms, kind and friendly servers. Cons: The main reason our experience was dampened down to 3 stars was the waiting. We had an 8:15 reservation, and got to the restaurant at 8:10. We weren’t seated until 8:50PM. It was very cold outside and there was not any designsted space to wait inside, so we huddled with other groups awkwardly in corners, trying to stay out of servers’ ways. Our first bite of appetizer came at 9:30PM 1 hour and 15 minutes after our reservation time. We finished and left at 10:30PM. The servers seemed to be busy, quick and attentive I gathered that the problem was with the kitchen falling behind. I say food was “mostly” good because my husband’s steak frites were not great. But everything I had (crab cake beignet, heirloom salad, duck) was very good. The restaurant week menu made our meal a good value. We wish this experience was better, as we wanted to like this restaurant. But the extended and awkward waiting definitely soured our night."
