"I arrived at the restaurant for lunch and decided to order the Bengo with beef teriyaki. However, I was disappointed to find that the beef was very tough and I was unable to eat it. I requested a knife to help cut through it, but unfortunately it was still too difficult to chew."

"The sushi at this restaurant is excellent! However, the banana tempura did not meet my expectations."

"Katsuno is where you make a reservation for authentic highest level Japanese cuisine in Queens. The agedashi tofu, duck udon, salmon appetizers and salads, beef tataki, poached egg, octopus vinaigrette, are all amazing."

"I can't believe no one here has rated this place yet. I have been going here since right after it opened when it used to be on Clark. Some of the same waitresses and sushi chefs whom were working in th 80's are still here! I have never had a bad dish and I eat both raw and cooked. Family favorites are the mushroom appetizer in a pot, the salt-and-peppered smelt, and their mackerel teriyaki. raw items always fresh too, I wouldn't trust some of this stuff anywhere but here!"

"Wish we'd had more than 3 people in our party as the menu was so enticing and there simply weren't enough of us to order more than the 2 apps and 4 sushi rolls. The dumplings were awesome, wish we'd placed an order for more. Definitely would love to go back- our oldest just started at DePaul and it was close to the dorm, reasonably priced and excellent food and service!"

"I'm not understanding the generous reviews here. First, the wasabi they served us was brown on the edges, indicating freezer burn wasabi. They didn't even bother scraping off the brown parts. Second, the fish and rice quality are vastly not worth the price. The rice is barely reasoned at all and the fish doesn't taste high quality. How can Nijiya market sushi be better than this? This place used to be my family's go-to spot and now I am disappointed."

"I went here for girls' night with my mom and sister and it was so great! I had never been to this area in the city for Chinese food (I live in the South Loop, so Chinatown is my go-to). I was definitely not disappointed with the authenticity or the atmosphere. Plus, the service was exceptional. I will definitely return to Dee's."

"Fuji Ya is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. I'm not big on sushi but they had a phenomenal lineup of none-sushi appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere is high-end yet cozy and not hoighty. A perfect place for a nice dinner, dinner date, etc. The drink selection seemed lovely although I didn't order. Every part of our meal was delicious and absolutely perfect; you MUST have the yakiniku if you like meat. The tempura ice cream was also a wonderful wrap up to the meal; we had the ginger flavored ice cream and I was surprised at how much I liked it! There had been a slight back up before we were seated but we were informed immediately and the wait staff was nothing but polite and amicable. As service slowed down our waiter would drop by to chit chat with us and it made our time there all the more fun and memorable. I couldn't recommend this place more!"

"I am a regular at this great sushi restaurant when I am in Cleveland. It is very high quality and also a bit unique verses normal sushi restaurants. In the pictures you will see a sashimi tasting menu which is awesome and a go to. One cool thing they do is fry your shrimp head after your eat the meat. They serve it with green tea salt. If you may be apprehensive, don't be! The head is crunchy and flavorful. Be a little adventurous here to be paid back greatly. You will want more! Also you will see pictures their spicy tuna hand roll. Very nice with great flavor and texture. Finally a mixture of some of my favorites. You pick yours. You cannot go wrong. The space is a bit small which is part of the experience so make a reservation. If you like sushi, just go, I promise you will be very happy!! After reading a few reviews: indeed the parking can be a bit challenging so just be patient. Is is downstairs in a basement so others are right dress comfortable and enjoy the food. Ginko is not fancy. Others have said it is expensive which it is. What they have not offered is a better value alternative. That matters to me personally. Now there was a great place around the corner that at one time probably offered a lower cost but it closed. So again I love this place but do agree you will have to pay for it."
