"A must stop on your way off of the Newport Pell Bridge for this authentic British Cafe experience. On a cold, rainy December day, my husband and I popped in for a special treat and we thought we had died and gone to Heaven. This family run cafe is charming and brought us back to our honeymoon spent in England. They were closing up shop, but kept the oven going to make me a Cornish pasty and my husband the most delicious vegetarian pie. Their kindness and warmth was appreciated on such a raw day. So was their delicious food!!!! Their variety of snacks and treats was impressive and introduced us to some treats we didn’t spot on our honeymoon. The food made our knees buckle. Flavors and a cooking style that we have longed for since we were in the UK and couldn’t find in New England. We had a lovely time visiting with them while our pies cooked and we are already planning our next trip!!! This is not a place to miss! We’re so grateful the owners picked Newport to open their shop!!!"
