"Fig Olive was not a good dining experience. The restaurant has a cool vibe, but that's where it ends NYC has too many good places to waste on this place. The service was the worst we've received at any NYCspot. The staff said they were short staffed so that's understandable, but then why not treat diners with some respect and give them a free round of drinks after they waited 35 minutes for one?????? The food was mediocre at best. This place needs a reset. More than disappointing."

"Happened upon this place by chance, thirsty after a long drive. We arrived during Happy Hour which was a bonus and after seeing the food co I got out to other guests decided to eat and we weren’t dissapointed I had the breaded tuna and the most enormous salad which was delicious, my hubby had chicken wings and fries and they were fab. Even got talked into playing bingo with the locals great fun and thanks for making us feel so welcome"
