"The same lady who took my order less than five minutes earlier asked for my receipt. At that point, I had to explain my allergy to her. She then went to get a manager, who apologized and mentioned that mistakes can happen. He was informed about my allergy and acknowledged the need for careful supervision to prevent such errors. I believe that if the order had been accurately taken, this situation could have been avoided.
I suggested that staff take an extra 10, 20, or 30 seconds to ensure orders are made correctly, especially considering the potential risks involved with food allergies. After the manager admitted that two mistakes occurred during my visit and had a rather serious demeanor, I decided to ask for a refund and left the restaurant. The lady who processed my refund was kind, although I needed a receipt for my records, which she didn't have available.
When I got home, I intended to submit a formal complaint at the corporate level due to the serious nature of my allergy. I also spoke to the lady who handled my complaint, explaining my situation and the importance of not mislabeling orders for individuals with specific dietary restrictions. They collected my information and assured me that someone would follow up with me. I would strongly advise anyone with allergies or specific preferences to be cautious when ordering at this location."
