"The dishes we tried here were pretty darn good! We decided to do a “taste of Chicago” and try small plates throughout town. We got the gyoza and a side of fried rice- firstly the gyoza’s were AMAZING. We did ask for them to be pan fried a little longer- but they had no problems doing that for us. The side of fried rice was so yummy we were sad we didn’t order more. We loved that they give you yum yum sauce on the side with the fried rice. "Tokyo Steakhouse is always a fantastic choice for date night when my fiancé and I visit Ankeny, Iowa. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and the service is prompt and friendly. They offer a wonderful selection of dishes, from hibachi grill options to beautifully crafted sushi and rolls. The cocktail and drink menu complements the fine dining experience perfectly. While the prices may be a bit higher than at some other restaurants, the quality of the food justifies that little extra cost. My fiancé and I regularly choose this place for our dates, and we plan to keep coming back again and again. Be sure to try the Tempura fried cheesecake—you won’t regret it!"

"the service was a little strange. the waitress stood very close to our table and basically watched us eat the entire time. not sure if she did that because she was told to or on her own, but it made us feel very rushed uncomfortable. the only plus was they cleared the table quickly, but at the expense of watching when you finish eating!! idk just weird to me, just let us eat talk to ourselves. the food was decent, we spent 75$ for 2 sushi rolls and a hibachi combo split that for 2 people. it wasn’t bad but prob would not go back or recommend to someone else. nothing personal"

"We decided to give this restaurant a try. They have a very inviting open-air bar with a commanding view that allows customers to sit either outdoors or indoors at the same bar. We were a few blocks from Dragon Fly at the Marriott Doral Villas. The typical afternoon thunderstorms had been active all afternoon and we wanted to find a covered bar that could also seat folks with the rain. This was perfect! As it was raining, we decided to sit at the bar inside and enjoy the afternoon Happy Hour . We started with a dozen James River raw oysters. We live in Virginia and our Chesapeake Bay oysters have the most wonderful salty flavor! We felt at home with the James River oysters! My favorite beer was on tap. Sapporo! My wife was very pleased with her vodka specialty drink. There were so many appealing items on the happy hour list of appetizers and food that we decided to stay at the bar and make it a happy hour dinner. The food was excellent! Probably the best variety of sushi we have found. All very delicious! It was a random Wednesday, and the restaurant was full of customers! The bar staff was VERY good! They were friendly and very attentive! We will definitely go back to Dragon Fly when we return to the Marriott! Readers of my comments should give Dragon Fly a try! It 's an excellent choice!"

"The tuna tartar was amazing as well as the sushi rolls we had. Our server was very helpful and recommend the perfect combination of flavors for us to try. The cocktail was a little light on alcohol but when I mentioned it our server immediately offered to fix it. Great experience! We'll be back!"
