"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"I love this pizza shop. They are polite and try to ensure that the customer is happy. I rarely have a problem with my order and if I do, it is solved without problems. I love her pizza and salads. But lately the salads were not as full with ingredients as normal. I assume that it is related to the concerns and delays in supplying food. Besides, I enjoy everything I ordered from here."

"I visited Ritz Diner to give it a try, and I found it to be quite decent! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with a side of fries, and I really enjoyed it—the fries were excellent! Other dishes ordered at our table included the chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and a pastrami sandwich. The fish and chips and pastrami sandwich were served as lunch specials that came with a side of soup and a soda. I tasted the matzo ball soup and thought it was rather bland. The chicken pot pie had a tasty filling, but the crust was so thick that it felt undercooked and overly chewy, which was quite off-putting. Our server was friendly, but we were seated in a spot where the sun shone directly on us, making it uncomfortable at times; I would suggest they consider getting some shades. Overall, I'd definitely return to try something new and to enjoy those fries again!"

"I had a wonderful breakfast today, February 12, 2022. The restaurant has just undergone a complete renovation and reopened recently. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It was busier than some other places I've visited lately, which is a good sign. This truly feels like a family restaurant. It was lovely to see Sandy and her family there today. "Oh my goodness! If I'm craving a delicious Käsesteak, this is my top spot. Without a doubt, their cheese steak sandwiches are the best in the Columbia area. They're far superior to the overpriced options available at the mall. The sandwiches are filled with fresh, never frozen, beef steak and there are plenty of topping choices. Plus, they serve it on a full-sized, authentic sub roll, not the tiny rolls you typically find in supermarkets. This place is truly a hidden gem. The staff is friendly as well!"

"Every time I need quality food, I think of La Mer. Sean is so helpful, and he’s really turned the store around. The employees all seem to care about the level of service as much as the owner, which is so refreshing. The store is always clean, food is on display in bright, fresh looking refrigerators, and everything looks delicious. I’ve called so many times in a panic, super last minute when I’ve needed catering, and Sean has come through every time. Even when he’s slammed with other orders, I’ve always felt taken care of and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, super fresh, the highest quality seafood and menu offerings. I can’t say enough great things. I’m so glad La Mer is in our town, they are my go to for all of my most important gatherings!"
