"In June 2020, my partner and I found ourselves in need of a meal one evening. We decided to try a new restaurant or support a local family-owned establishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service over the phone from Laurie. We placed an order for the beef brisket dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese. To our delight, the food arrived in just 25 minutes, much quicker than the estimated 45 minutes. This speedy delivery was a pleasant surprise as we were quite hungry. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the exceptional service from the person who delivered our meal, who we believe was named Dawn. Good luck to the restaurant!"

"The food was generally good. We tried the sampler plate and were not impressed with the Mozzarella sticks, however the Calamari was surprisingly tasty. The chicken fingers were delicious and the buffalo wings were decent. Our waiter was not very friendly, but we had an international waiter a few weeks ago who was extremely nice! I suppose it depends on the day you visit. The prices were fair, although they are gradually increasing. Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant - a nice spot for a quick meal."

"Huge portions of each part is large enough to share for two people! If you order a main dish, the pasta on the page is large enough for a meal of itself. The chicken parmigiana is perfectly cooked and you have residues for a late evening snack. I also recommend the wedges very large satisfying and the staff is very nice to boot. You'll never be hungry here. Also great prices!"

"I have an order for the last minute catering, a very small work meeting, just needed an antipasto and cheese tablet. I ordered at 11:30 a.m. and found out that the event was canceled at 1:30 a.m., I contacted them immediately to cancel the order for the new date or preferably to change it again. they canceled the $200 order, refunded me $20, and told me they would be happy to accompany our later event, but the cancellation fee is still because they had to throw away all food. a few things. the restaurant industry was hit hard because of the pandemic, I know that. people like me cannot afford to do like these all willing nilly. I know. they had to throw away all food?...Why was there only a 2 hours gap between me to put the order and find out that the meeting was canceled delivery was not planned until 3:30. again, maybe. I'm wrong! but if they had said. if we would still charge them all the amount and throw away all the food, I would have just taken the food and put it in the refrigerator. Finally, nowhere...absolutely nowhere is it written the due customers will be when an order is canceled with this place. they gave me $20 of a $200 order, and we're talking about cheese and olive. it looks like this place has really good food, but I will never order from them again, and no one will be in my company. it is not my fault that someone was sick and that was canceled, not their fault, maybe a better communication and customer service."

"Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "It took me a couple of weeks to write this review because I could not believe how terrible this meatball sub was or how horrible of a response I received from the place. One of the items we ordered was a meatball sub with bread on the side. I received in a container, 2 plain tiny meatball like 1 1/4 inch round that also tasted like frozen meatballs, a small dipping size cup of sauce on the side and a handful of shredded mozzarella! Oh and a sub roll. After I looked at it for 10 minutes thinking it was a joke, my sister called only to be told cut the meatballs in half that would make 4 pieces! I was a loyal and frequent customer up until this point. Too many places to choose from to be treated like this! I going to try and post a picture for everyone to see! I must say the Spanish food is much better the the Italian food although they are a pizzeria."

"Delicious and cheap sushi in Boston?!?! Tried this place on the recommendation of my boss. Fantastic and creative rolls. The fish was really fresh, and the service was fantastic (we did takeout because, you know, covid.... . Going back to try some of their Korean dishes next time. Glad we found this place."

"Funny enough, I like everything but the pizza. The meat lover was thick but plain, no seasonings or spice except the red pepper I added myself. But the other menu items I 've had were good. The wings here are great (but I think 'hot ' is still a little mild), and the club sandwiches are really thick."
