"Forgot to take a photo of the presentation because it was THAT good! Delicious Cajun Shrimp Scampi! Very flavorful, mildly spicy for Cajun, which is just how I like it. A little kick but nothing overwhelming. Cool location over looking the old Capitol in Kentucky. It could use a little updating with their cloth booths, but overlooking that aspect the food is very tasty! I’d definitely come back if the rest of the menu is as tasty as this entree!"

"This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the food and the service. Everyone as friendly and we were greeted as we approached the counter. It's a seat yourself environment so nothing crazy as you walk through the door, just head to the counter and order. The food came out hot and fresh. The portion sizes were more than enough to be full and grab a to-go box worth. The men's bathroom smelled and looked clean. Most restaurants miss the mark on either of those but this one did not. 10/10 would recommend!"

"I was really disappointed with this restaurant. They promote themselves as vegetarian and vegan-friendly, but in reality, they use butter, milk, and eggs in almost everything. We went for breakfast and found that the only vegan options available were a heel flake and a head dish. Honestly, I can get better vegan options at a chain restaurant like IHOP, where I can order crispy fruit and heel flakes. We tried to communicate with the waiter to create a nice meal, but everything was cooked in butter. It’s frustrating that they claim to be vegan-friendly when their understanding of veganism seems limited. If they truly want to cater to vegans, they should know what being vegan means and offer real vegan options. We ended up leaving in frustration, and I still feel annoyed when I hear others talk about this place. It’s hard to believe they consider themselves vegan-friendly while using eggs, cheese, and butter."

"My husband and I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Bleu. We had Crispy Calamari and Fried Brussel Sprouts tapas appetizers and a bottle of wine. Dinner for me was the Lump Crab Shrimp Cakes, he had the Grilled Mahi Mahi. Everything was delicious and the service is wonderful from the front door to the bar and wait staff. And to the heart of all fine dining...the kitchen. Cudos to the chefs. I highly recommend."

"We are in town from Florida. A friend recommended we meet there for dinner. It was our first time in and won't be our last when in the area. I had Eggplant Parmesan and it was amazing, some of the best I have ever had. My husband had a sausage calzone enough for 2 people to eat. My friend had Stromboli that was huge and delicious. Our other friend had the Meat Ravioli, again huge. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and quite pleasant. The service was top notch. "Came here for a warm brunch on a snowy day after we couldn't drink our coffee at the Samuel's Sweet Shop. The service was nice and fast. The food was wonderful dinner. The omelet of the farmer was light and fluffy, not fat. These were the best attempt to eat potatoes too early, which I had during my visit to the north - they tasted tasty and buttery (I prefer my homeries as tasty cubes of crispy potato quality, but to the north they seem to serve them as thin cut and excessively fried/saturated in oil. The Blueberry pancakes I tasted were fluffy and sweet. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I were in the area. A nice affordable option."

"This is our favorite place to go to breakfast. The staff is always nice and the food is great. They have a patio for the nicer days, but I don 't think we have ever sat on it. The restaurant is not big inside, but we have never waited long. Decor is 'hole in the wall ', but the food makes up for any lack of decor. There is no beer list, but never ending coffee is usually what we need anyway! I have liked everything I have gotten here. TBG always has to finish my plate so we order different things. I like to get the egg sandwich on a bagel, but also love the eggs benedict, and the stuffed french toast. TBG likes the eggs benedict and sometimes gets it with cajun steak. We have visited a handful of times after breakfast and their lunch/dinner food is also good. The pastrami and corned beef are homemade and good, and the sandwiches are huge.
