The Studio City location of this company owned bakery-delli, WESTERN BAGEL, offers a comprehensive selection of boiled bagels, cream cheese and European baked goods. Traditional boiled bagels are smaller, have a denser crust, than the steamed bagel offers. The inside is rich and firm, without the airation resulting from the steam, proffing process. Quality is above average. Sandwiches are stacked high with paper thin veggie slices and the protein of your choice. Build your bagel with a selection of veggies, lox, a smear cream cheese, (vegan or conventional) and you have a delicious sandwich. Their rich, flavorful coffee isn't bad either. Seating is available both inside and out. There are no public bathrooms in the eatery. The nearest facility is across the courtyard. The restaurant staff will direct you. Lots of free parking in a multi level structure, located behind the center, and paid street parking in front. The multi-story shopping center is supposed with ramps, escalators, and elevators. Sandwiches are served in clear plastic boxes for easy takeout. There are wheelchair ramps and elevators."
