"Cafe de Royal is a wonderful addition to the Ridgewood dining scene and more than just a bakery. They serve beautiful and delicious pastries, homemade soups, and delightful souffles, crepes (both sweet and savory), and sandwiches with Turkish, Greek and French influences. Savories such as the Greek spinach triangles and sweets such as the old fashioned almond croissant are consistently delicious. If you are looking for lighter fare, the soups are also great, especially the lentil soup. Oh, and I did I mention they have several different varieties of baklava?! The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. The outside tables with cheery red umbrellas are a perfect spot to sit and relax. And the coffee is great, too!"
