"The waitress came by, I asked if Elan soup was vegan. Immediately yes I asked oh no fish stocks sure no no vegan. I pushed a little further as I wasn't feeling so sure: oh so you get a lot of vegans come here yeah everyday ok then another waiter came over to take our order i asked him about the wrong soup . No, they do with fish paste, but I'll check and sure enough, fish paste. So we ordered rice noodles tofu vegetable bowl. And it totally smelled and tasted like fish! I asked what the broth was, such a strong taste. Oh they use potato I never go to Asian restaurants unless they have a clear vegan menu but it was a Sunday night, nothing else open. Hardly anything for vegans/vegetarians."
