"When I inquired about the price, I was informed that unless you specifically request a SINGLE cheeseburger with bacon, they automatically assume you want a double. It might be a good idea for them to ask customers whether they want a single or double when ordering a cheeseburger, but they don't. My daughter and I explicitly wanted singles, as she hadn't ordered a double. They debated with me but eventually issued a $3 refund, though I believe it should have been more. I found out that a cheeseburger costs $3.30, which means the bacon added $2.29 to my bill—seems quite steep. Afterwards, I called to confirm the cost of a cheeseburger ($3.30) and the price to add bacon, which would total $4.30. I asked why I was charged $5.59, and chaos ensued. I overheard staff in the kitchen as they discussed my question, one woman suggesting they didn't need customers like me, and a man yelled at me without letting me finish my thoughts before abruptly hanging up. The basic calculations are pretty straightforward: 2 double bacon cheeseburgers at $4.30 each ($8.60), one order of onion chips ($3.30), and two small malts at $3.99 each ($7.98), totaling $19.88, with tax bringing it to $21.25. Initially, I was charged $27.85, and after a $3 refund, I still ended up paying $24.85, meaning they still owe me $3.60. Instead of addressing my concerns honestly, they chose to yell at me, hang up, and essentially steal $3.60 from me. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s my money, not theirs. In essence, they overcharged me and denied my request for a full refund, claiming I was lying during my initial inquiry. I disagree; my daughter ordered two cheeseburgers with bacon, not two double bacon cheeseburgers. Their menu does not specify that ordering without saying "single" means you automatically receive a double. The customer service was atrocious, enough for me to decide I won’t return. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else, either. We have visitors every summer, and we eat out frequently, but there are plenty of other establishments that offer just as good food, if not better, and are far more pleasant and fair. There are superior malts just down the street, better burgers across the tracks, and tastier onion rings right next door. Don’t waste your money at Eagle's Nest. If you do go, bring a calculator and be sure to ask plenty of questions to ensure you're charged for exactly what you intend to order."

"If you are hosting a party, Pizza Press should be at the top of your list!At the suggestion of a friend, I called Mimi on a Wednesday desperate for a place to host my husband's surprise 40th birthday party. Everything was planned for an outdoor picnic in a park but the weather was not going to cooperate. I was frantic but Mimi calmed me down and told me she'd absolutely love to host the party at her restaurant. On Friday morning, I met with Mimi and went over our order. She perfectly estimated our food needs for guests. In addition, I was able to order 3 specialty pizzas for guests with specific dietary needs. She had options available to accommodate everyone.I was supposed to set up before the party but due to the change of plans, it wasn't possible. Mimi told me not to worry and that she and her team would set up for me. I brought the decorations with me on Friday morning and told her what I had in mind. She and her team set up the night before the party and executed it above and beyond my expectations. When my husband walked in, Mimi had borrowed one of my friend's phones and was filming the surprise for us. Soon after the greeting, the food came flowing out. She had appetizers of tasty tots and wings ready to go for our hungry guests. Then the pizzas started to arrive. She had a steady stream of hot and fresh pizzas from the ovens every 5-10 minutes. Guests who arrived later were welcomed with nice hot pizza. Everyone absolutely raved about the awesome food and great selection of beer on tap.The crust of the pizza is insanely simple yet tasty. And you can tell the ingredients are fresh and come from great suppliers. The customization is awesome but the pre-set pizzas are fantastic as well.We had so much fun at the Pizza Press and were seriously impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of Mimi and her team. We will absolutely be back for more pizza and celebrations in the future! Vegetarian options: Lots of different veggie toppings. They also have vegan cheese! Dietary restrictions: There are so many options for dietary restrictions. They even have vegan cheese for a dairy free alternative. They have cauliflower crust for gluten free. They’ll customize a pizza for all of your dietary needs."
