"Pretty good-- but not excellent--BBQ in a city with a lot of quality BBQ. I am a recurring customer and staff is friendly and helpful. Today I ordered online. My bagged duck sat right in front of the person who outputs orders opposite the end of the cash register. Without asking me, she said politely that everything I need was in the bag. But at home I found that it contains zero toppings (pickles, onions, jalapenos, etc.). Maybe it was a miscommunication or a one-time belief. Am I wrong for the assumption that some onions or pickles with $15 to-go escape?"

"Ribs were undercooked, chicken was overcooked. Food was edible, but not great. We asked for the family meal menu and was handed it. After looking it over and ordering, she informed us there was a slight price increase. First off, say that when you hand the menu over or better yet, just fix the menu. Second off, a 35% increase isn't slight."

Opened up the plate started eating with my fingers, People Stop by, OMG x 2, food is pass off the chain, as a Master Chef, I can tell you, you will not regret stopping. "I've always wanted to try that good smelling HEB bbq. Never tried it. I went to order bbq on DD last night and without me realizing I ordered from this HEB bbq place. I was a little excited because I've always wanted to try it anyway. Well, all of that excitement went down the drain when I opened my food. I got the bbq baked potato. It was so over cooked and dry, maybe even old that I couldn't even cut through the skin of the potatoe. I wasn't full for dinner last night let's just say that. It was the worst experience I've had with BBQ. I'll never order again unfortunately. I lost out on some cash, and that's not easy being me."

"I ended up at Shane's because the place I wanted to go started closing at 4 during the week. Big mistake. Ordered 2 All Americans, a Cowboy burger and 2 sides of fries. Got the order home, about a mile away, and discovered the fries were cold. Not lukewarm after trip type cold but cold. No warmth. Opened up the burgers and low and behold, no Cowboy Burger. I really don't feel like driving back and complaining so I'm doing it here. I included a pic of the fries that I won't be eating."

"At first I didn't want to try Shane for the bad press I heard/read, but one of my good friends said he loved it, so we went to lunch. Their BBQ (Pullover pork) and grilled offers are both fantastic, I love their sauce and sweet potatoes too. They prevented me from putting Honey Mustard on her. I was probably a dozen times since this first visit and I had no problems complaining. Waiting time is what I would expect for better quality food. It doesn't feel like a fast food joint rushed, but I would recommend it for lunch."
