"We had the honor of hosting our 5-Year Anniversary party at Southern Cross Kitchen this month. For starters, everything was perfect! Kevin Markee made sure to accommodate for everything that we had envisioned for the night. We were first greeted by the wonderful hostess’s downstairs and directed to head upstairs. Upstairs was decorated beautifully and was the perfect size to host our party of about 50 people. The food was amazing, and staff constantly made sure to refill trays when they were getting low. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. We were even offered live music by soloist, Alex, who was amazing and really set the ambiance in the room. It was truly an awesome night, and we are very happy that we were able to support a fellow Woman Owned Business while celebrating our 5-Year Anniversary, we can’t wait to visit again in the future! She def needs a raise because she was handling several orders had great customer service multitasking. I will be coming back to try it for the first time. "Excellent experience overall. They had an enclosed patio, but also a fully outdoor patio with heat fans, so me and my four friends sat out there. The place was packed, but the service was still very good. Had a couple of shared apps and drinks along with the food, all nice. Would definitely go again!"

"I am working near by, and drove by this place. I have been curious to try some good barbecue food. Finally, I made my way to this place. The customer service is amazing. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years, and I can assure you this girl, so sorry, I forgot to ask her, her name, is top rate customer service! And the food, turkey and brisket, so so tender) and the baked beans loved it). Unfortunately, I will be leaving this area soon, but when I work near by again, I will stop in! "I stopped by the one on Durham and Inker for lunch. It is a cozy little set up. It has a nice shaded deck outside with a couple TV's to watch while you eat. It is a burrito/bowl type bar where you are able to pick what you want. It has the typical options that come with burritos or bowls. One thing that did stand out was that I could pick califlower rice. A little extra charge but it is nice that I was able to pick that option. I went with the bowl. Grilled chicken for the protein and a half dozen other ingredients. I think where they stand out is there salsas. I choose the spicy avocado and the habanero salsa. Both were delicious. Friendly service and only cost me $10. Only thing I could want more from them would be the portion in the bowl. I think a larger option for a couple more dollars might make this place a good place to eat for lunch. Not saying I wouldn't go back. If I am looking for a light lunch then I will be going there for sure. If this helps hit the like button. The habanero salsa is very good but it is hot so try it but tread lightly."
