"Max's is our go to eating establishment before an evening opera in San Francisco. We can park once and walk! The food is dependably excellent, the service efficient and friendly, and the prices reasonable for San Francisco. My favorite dish is either the shrimp or crab Louis. It has beautifully fresh greens and vegetables, and loads of fresh crab or shrimp. Actually, ALL their dinner salads are superb! Another delicious entree to try is their Paella wonderfully seasoned and chock full of a variety of fresh fish."

"Came here after a memorial at Tahoma cemetery with a large family group. We took up the whole back room. I can't say enough about our waiter. Friendly, efficient, funny, attentive. Food was correct and delicious. Thank you for ending our ceremony with great atmosphere, service, and food. I will come here again if ever in the area. Prime rib was awesome."

"Great place for delish breakfast food! I had the corned beef hash, which was good. The last time I was at Mikayla's Cafe, I ordered the spicy crab cake Benedict and another friend ordered the bourbon bacon jam chicken grilled cheese sandwich and we shared our order (see half/half photo). Both were amazing! Their fruit mimosas are yummy. The branch on Aldo Ave in Santa Clara is deceivingly roomy (it easily accommodated a party of 15 with no problem has outdoor seating with umbrellas."

"I wanted to eat here for a while and I finally got it. I was hoping for a big burger. And they delivered. It was one of the best I had in a long time. Double lamp cheeseburger with her homemade chili., it was so good. Kristen was our waitress and she was super helpful and professional. I recommend this place to everyone."

"The food was very tasty from the kale salad to the dessert. The short rib pappardelle was exquisite and the bolognese just as tasty. The pasta incredibly fresh and well seasoned as we at every bite! The fried calamari with both the ringlets and tentacles was scrumptious! The abruzzo wine and spicy margarita both hit the spot for the table! What was disappointing was the service which we found uneven. Our dear friends who are long time locals who have known the Andres owners for years raved about this place. So we couldn 't wait to check out and even brought along a portena from Buenos Aires. Between the wonderful server who took our order to the other who kept asking if we planned to order anything after our drinks to rushing to clear our plates as if we needed to get out was unfortunate. Granted much of the crowd at BO is the 'new ' face of Brooklyn but had expected more of an old school Brooklyn treatment versus leaving feeling like just a table number and turn.;"

"Came for dinner with my hubby and we were completely blown away! Josh was our server; he was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and amazing! The food (I got the club and hubby only wanted a snack so he got the cheese sticks) was awesome too! I’m excited to come back and try something different next time. Oh, can’t forget about the extensive craft beer selection that was also amazing. Without a doubt, hands down, one of the best restaurant/ bars I’ve been to in my 17 years of living in Arizona. "Our server did not look happy, she never cracked a smile or told us her name … I had asked if there was any dairy in the seabass entree and she said no but apparently there was because I got really sick afterwards… I suggest you inform the wait staff re: ingredients for those of us who have intolerances… or teach them to ask the cook staff for clarification… otherwise the food was actually very delicious and the ambiance was amazing…"
