"My wife and I, where for lunch. When we arrived there, a bullet was in front of us. We placed our order of chicken wings and two sushi rolls. We waited 45 minutes and no order, the server never informs us about our order. Another pair came after us and they also ordered chicken wings to bring the server to us instead of ordering, had another server bringing the order and gave it to the pair that ordered after us. That's the second time I ate in your restaurant and our food was given to another. As for me, I will not eat again in your restaurant, you are either under the staff or your staff will not care."

"Beware of sneaky tip charges at this restaurant! There were four of us dining and even though the bill already included an 18% gratuity, they still asked us to add an additional tip. Many people may not notice and end up paying twice for gratuity. The food was salty and cooked in bad oil, especially the fried rice which was so salty it gave us headaches. We have been to this restaurant many times, but this experience was the worst in terms of taste and attempts to overcharge for tips."

"Kuro is the chef and owner of this little jem, we believe he’s going on his 16th year. GOOD FOR HIM and his passion for putting art in creating beautiful sushi. The proportions of fish to rice is perfect. Remember going into some Sushi bars with 2/3 rice and the fish is cut paper thin for higher price because it’ some fancy deco. This is Kuro’s second home, rock n roll posters, great music and fresh fish. Orange Sunrise; creamy delicious quail eggs, salmon and smelt egg, melt in your mouth. El Fuegio is spicy, but not the hottest, just enough to make it one of our favorites. Rainbow Roll is a sampler of many different fresh fish and that’s the difference between other sushi bars, this fish is fresh and created with a passion. THANKS KURO for serving us for ten years. btw, he’s getting busier every month, so try to make it on Tuesday- Thursday if you don’t want to wait."

"I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, but the 3-star rating made me hesitant. However, since their nearby competitors aren’t on Grubhub, I decided to give it a shot! Please note that this review focuses solely on the food. Here’s what we ordered: Bento Box (Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, and California Roll), Salmon Teriyaki with brown rice, Chicken Teriyaki, and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. Both the salmon and chicken were perfectly cooked—moist and full of flavor. The Shrimp Tempura Roll and California Roll were among the best I've had in a long time. As the saying goes, “Don’t knock it until you try it!” I'm giving this place a solid 4 stars! I may not have tasted all the fancy rolls that some people have complained about, but everything we had was spot on for my taste. I'll definitely dine in next time to provide an update on the service and atmosphere."

"Pot stickers are 5 stars including their unique sweet dipping sauce. So good it is drinkable. I rarely give restaurants 5 stars for pot stickers. It is truly rare that you can order $15.95 Chicken Pad Thai $4.00 Pot Stickers Sushi in same place ... but here you can. Highly suggest you add Extra Chicken for ONLY $2 more as they will double the chicken content. I've NEVER had Pad Thai with more CHICKEN than this place and I've had it all over the USA. The sauce is a little unique and I'd give the pad Thai sauce 4 stars, but they offer extra sauce and the portion is huge so in the end I give it 5 stars. 1 meal 2 meals for most. You can definitely get better Pad Thai flavor elsewhere, but not the quantity of the chicken. So the value is 5 stars."

"When I got at the restaurant I asked if I could get a hibachi table. My family was visiting me and it was their first time having a fried rice… they don’t eat a lot and they were scared to order something so we decided to order a couple of sushis and two orders of rice. Just because my parents didn’t get the rice, the waiter moved us from the hibachi table and took was to a very isolated table. The service was horrible. They brought us this sushi that was made awhile ago! The avocado was dark, the fried shrimp was cold and withered. Since we wanted to share the rice, it was obvious that we needed a couple of extra plates, but they did not bring it. I told them that we were going to share the rice but they ignored it. Sincerely, don’t come! The service is very bad and the food is not that good. Very disappointed!"

"I stopped here for takeout lunch while at a conference nearby. The service was slow but the biggest concern is that they accidentally charged me for the dinner bento price instead of the lunch takeout price, then were unable to correct it, and did not seem particularly bothered or apologetic! I was told that the man who would correct it was too busy in the kitchen right now, so they would call or text me later to correct it. The ordeal took 15 minutes, and the whole take out experience was over a 40 min which was not speedy takeout lunch service! I never got a call or text, so still carry a $32 charge for lunch.Also I asked for spoons and soy sauce, and they said it was in the bags, and it wasn’t. Disappointing service all around.Do not recommend this if you’re in a rush, or if you prefer not to overpay."
