"Hot rice and fresh fish....what more could you ask. Fish is soooo fresh. Poke, in Hawaii, is already in the sauce....this is more like sashimi mixed with some sauce just b4 serving. I'm glad they got something. Love all the extras added at the end... without extra charge. Although it was lunchtime and the place was busy... some of the staff need to remember that this can be the first time for some customers and do not need to act rudely, throw cups on trays or since I forgot the Wasabi and at the end asked for it, the cashier made a face (as now you want some), got the Wasabi (that was in a take-out container and I said it on my tablet). All in all, the food was good and some staff were helpful. You'll even have a bag to put ice in to go, especially because it had to go to Tucson. I'm glad I had a little cooler to put him in the bag, as the ice had melted through the bag. Will definitely be back...now I know the process."

"My 1st time here. I had a grilled salmon salad on greens with a few extras. It was so good! I'll definitely eat here again. I wasn't sure about adding the base/sauces but I am learning. The person taking my order was nice and very helpful. Since my 1st visit I've been making a habit of eating here a few times a month. It's a healthy choice."

"Customer service could be better. There was no one before us meaning the server has nothing to do before we got here. I felt really rushed since the beginning which I 'm not sure why? It 's my first time here and I need to see what selection I have or how the menu works. Throughout the ordering process i was rushed to move through the line what else, anything else seems to be the mandatory line here. I 've never been so stress ordering food before until I visited here. The way the server staring at me while waiting for my selection was hilarious. It 's not like there were 10 people behind me . The food was just okay nothing special. They should give a bit more rice since I ordered 3 scoops. Well I will just go somewhere else where I don 't get panic attacked ordering food."

"I have been at this establishment, once, in April of 2024. I have visited this establishment, when I was on my lunch break, from my work. The line, during that time, was not long. Furthermore, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy the meal. The staff were helpful, attentive, and courteous. Without good service, the prices, too, were fair. At the same time, the place was neat. So, definitely, if anyone visits West Covina, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. It is conveniently located in Eastland Center."

"I ordered lunch online with limited time in my day because I had to hurry back to the office. I figured, why not order from my favorite poki bowl spot which I was craving. I got back to the office and I was very, very, disappointed in my bowl! It was more of a soupy substance than a poki bowl!! I ordered crab salad and there was no crab salad anywhere in that bow! I couldn?t eat it, it was gross, messy and very soggy (rice)! The lady that took my order was a Maria (I believe per the receipt)and I am not sure if she was either tired/drunk making my order but this was a terrible and disgusting bowl! I didn?t have time to take it back, but I made sure to reply to the email they sent asking about my experience/visit and still no answer. I will be asking for my back from my c/c since I never heard back from anyone. Never again, will I order online and it will definitely be awhile for I build any confidence in this place to go back."

"I visited this restaurant several times. It was overall very good. However, on 7/24/2023 (Monday noon), in my 3-item bowl, the rice was very hard and portions almost not chewable. Apparently, the rice was leftover at the bottom of the rice cooker, and I recall that the server had to scratch to get it. My wife had semi-transparent noodle, which was too dry and thus hard and almost not chewable. Disappointing. On that day, vegetables were not available and so we had rice or noodle. On the positive side, the 3 items were in generous portions. The fish and the accompanied bean, etc. were good. Hope the restaurant will improve, bc I want to come back."

"I ordered online. As soon as I pushed send I called to let them know my son is allergic to soy so leave them sauce off his order. They didn’t pick up. I called several times while on my way to the restaurant. When I got there there was two girls standing there and noone in the place. I explained the situation, how sick it would make my son and she said they would remake the spam roll and leave off the sauce. I asked if the tuna bowl was ok and she said yes. Then a guy comes out from the back. I asked for the nutritional info on the sauces. He said he had the nutritional info but not the ingredients. I explained my son is allergic to soy and he responds “well if he is allergic to soy he should NOT eat here. We even put soy oil in our rice”. I said you are kidding. He said no he was serious. I told him he would need to cancel my sons order then because he can’t eat any of it. He responded “well we already made it”. I said I don’t care, there is nothing on the website that says you put soy in everything so you need to Cancel it! He responded that it is already paid for. I said I know and you need to credit me for his order. He did say he would issue me a credit but he made it obvious that he wasn’t happy about it. I am really angry that I was told the tuna didn’t have soy in it and if I hadn’t asked about the sauces my son would have been very sick. The lack of caring by these people is unbelievable.There is no information on any website about the ingredients in the dishes made by ahi poke bowl so if you have any food allergies I would not eat here and I wouldn’t believe them if they say it doesn’t have what you are allergic to. Please beware of this place."

"Having an assistant or main manager present always enhances the customer service experience. It is crucial for a business to have someone overseeing the operation to ensure success. Without adequately trained workers, a business may struggle to provide top-notch service. However, Chop Stop excels in this area. I recently visited Ahipoke but was disappointed by the dirty countertops and poor customer service by an employee which led me to choose Chop Stop for dinner instead. The Ahipoke worker seemed agitated when asked for clarification about the meal options, prompting me to cancel my order and go to Chop Stop instead. I hope that next time I visit Ahipoke, the assistant manager or manager will be present to improve the dining and customer experience. Ultimately, I recommend going to Chop Stop."

"Quality heavily depends on who makes the bowl. I?ve come here several times and even though I always order the same thing, it?s always different. Portion sizes as well as their sauces are all over the map. Today my food had less rice than ever and more sauce than ever. "On Tuesday, July 18th there was a younger teenage boy working who was the sweetest ever. He was so nice about telling me he would be right with me while he respectively helped the person ahead of me because he said he hasn’t been there before. "Eh, I?ve been coming here for a bit and it was good at first but as I keep coming, for some reason the bad reviews live to their expectations. Last time I ordered online around lunch time and they canceled my order (understandable maybe they were busy). Anyways, I came one last time to give it another go and when I was eating my food it was completely drenched in the dressing. MAYBE get the dressings on the side or tell them lightly????? ?? The pictures are literally all the dressing I got in one SMALL bowl. I literally would chew my food and spit out the extra dressing! It was just not enjoyable. Also the drinks are SUPER SWEET ? "Amazing place right across fron my gym perfect for my high proven meals and being a Pescatarian it's hard to find poki in the inland empire. The fish is fresh people were so nice it's a good atmosphere love the flooring! My definite go to and recommended to my daughter who lives just up the street!"
