"Wonderful!. This was a random choice for us because it was raining (again! as we left our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn and we asked for a recommendation from the reception people. I had read decent reviews of it, and have to say that it exceeded expectations on this Sunday evening.<br/ <br/ My husband and I were seated immediately. We both chose the Faroe Island salmon with the summer squash zuke salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I wanted to know where Faroe Island was, thinking it was most likely near Monhegan Island or some other Maine location, but no, it is an island in the North Sea between Norway and Iceland (as my very smart husband knew . So much for local cuisine. But it was delicious, and the veggies were amazing, with a delightful lemony seasoning. When I asked about the seasoning, our helpful server said she would inquire, and soon reported back that the herbs were parsley, mint, and basil. I will try to duplicate it at home, it was THAT good. <br/ <br/ I was accidentally served two glasses of chardonnay, but when an additional server dropped the second glass off and noticed a glass already on the table, he said, 'Oh, you already got your glass. Well, have two and this one is on us. ' Very gracious, and very consumed. <br/ <br/ For dessert, I followed our original server 's suggestion: the lime tart, with gin infused cherries (see photo! . Really tasty!!<br/ <br/ I highly recommend the Old Port Sea Grill and hope your experience is as satisfying as ours."

"Probably one of the worst dining experience I 've had in a long time. In short, the restaurant demands an upscale and premium price, but delivered little in quality of the food and service. We had a medium sized group. It took about 10 mins for our drinks to come, and another 40 mins for our food to come. During that time, the waitress only checked with us for once. Mind you, this was on a Saturday night with the restaurant at about 25-30% capacity when we were there. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the special dish of the night. Almost every single one of them missed the mark. The walleye special was mediocre at best. Veggies are ok, but the fish was bland. The salmon came little raw. We don 't have issue with raw fish, we love sushi. But this dish definitely did not call for raw salmon. The chicken sandwich was overcooked and had too much breading. Half of the sandwich had bacon and pickle, and half of the sandwich didn 't. Too bad, because I don 't think the breading wouldn 't taste bad if it weren 't overcooked. The fish and chips also had similar issue. It was fried for too long. The fish was too greasy, and very bland. It didn 't even come with a slice of lemon as advertised. The only redeeming food was the cheese curds. We didn 't care for the curry ketchup , whatever that was. The curds were decent, not overcooked, and pretty decent. Lastly, the drinks. Never again. Taps weren 't available. A Heineken is $7. A lemon drop shot is $10. And the rest of the signature cocktails are anywhere between $10 to $15 each, and none that we had was very good. They definitely couldn 't justify the price they were listed at. Overall, I wouldn 't recommend anyone to spend any money at this establishment. It 's such a shame, the hotel it 's attached to is great. I wish the hotel would 've selected a better restaurant that its guests could go to."
