"gastgeberin was very nice. the appetizers were very good, calamari and tempura shrimp. my spare ribs were very good. there were missing some disappointments that disappoint the guests. the steak of my wife was boiled, but she wanted to eat with everyone and didn't complain (I had) my guests had caesar salad that she had found to be devoured, and you guys had branzino what he said was hard. We want them to succeed and wait for a great dinner. the server never asked us how our dinners were."

"Celebrated my birthday by having dinner here which was also our first visit. Beautiful restaurant, elegantly restored old house on Delaware Avenue with impeccable service from everyone starting with the hostess, the bartender, our server and the other wait staff. I enjoyed the lobster bisque to start while my wife chose the Caesar salad both incredible. She went with the lobster entree which was an entire lobster deshelled over a fresh corn risotto. I had the rib eye which was enormous and serves with a roasted potato, onion and mushroom hash. Both were absolutely fantastic and more than either of us could eat. We finished with desert and desert cocktails that were all to die for! Thanks Tempo for a wonderful meal and a fabulous way to celebrate my birthday."

"a classy, intimate spot in downtown seattle. A Seattle institution. the food is reliably good and the service attentive and ...again, classy. One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle."

"Went here with my husband years ago (2016? . I know my review is a little late, but I’m dreaming about this delicious steak right now. I can still remember the 8 Oz. delectable slice of heaven I ate. My husband had a T-bone and swore if the waiter didn’t come for his plate “any second” he was going to suck on the bone! We were lucky to get a seat that night so I would suggest making a reservation."

"This was the first time we were visiting this restaurant. The restaurant is well appointed in a nice area. Valet service is provided. We were seated in a small side room which initially seem to be secluded, more private and romantic setting. The waiter was very attentive and service was great. The food was very good as well. However, our enjoyment was slowly but surely diminished as other guests were seated in the same small side room. The room is very acoustic so that any noises are greatly amplified. Guests with children were seated next to us. You can imagine how that scenario unfolded. Management seems to be not aware of this issue. Having said the above, I still think this is a great dining place and will give it a second try. This time I will specify my seating in the main dining space."

"Here's a dinner party. Our waitress was irritated to be there and did not attempt to hide him. We chose dinner for 2 based on 4 courses: the Krabbe Bisque, tasty, but too salty. Spaghetti with truffles, the cream was incredibly heavy, the Branzino was delicious, but the sautéed spinach was salty. Finally? Cheesecake parfait? Very take what was refreshing, but the part was ridiculously lol. There were 4 points on a record? Overall not bad and worth a try. There were definitely many other great options on their menu."

"We only had a fantastic night at The Adventure Pub. On a pipe, my wife went on our date night and Celeste and Ken the bartenders took care of us. We played a sushi-based dice game that was great fun and had some super delicious drinks. As heads-up they charge a cover of $5 per person when you play more than one board game. But given the crazy selection of over 500 games and super cool atmosphere, I think that's more than fair. Heck my wife and I didn't even pay cover with our one game and we were there over two hours. At least dive to the Nerdy and fun names for the food and beverage menu (which with 'Poutine on the Bits' for a simultaneous play on words and Steven Universe reference deserves an increase)."

"Can't recommend. Ordered at 7:30 and left after more than an hour to never see our food. The third time the waiter came to our table promised promising it would only be a few minutes (to repeat the same of the other two times, we asked if the meal would be complicated. They were not willing to compose anything else than a dish with a ball of mozzarella and some chopped tomatoes. Deli down the road is good, although"

"Great time having high tea at the pembrook room at the Lowell hotel. Tea was great, even when I picked one and didn't like it, they changed it out for a second one. The small treats were delicious. The scones were warm but not dry like traditional scones. They were also not as tasty, more butter needed in the recipe. Clotted cream and lemon curd rocked. Service was great. Small space so reservations are a must. Outside space would be nice during the appropriate months."

"Very fresh and delicious! We have the crispy chicken salad, but with shrimps, and the ulcered chicken sandwich. Very good favor, but the dressing was a little thick and there was no ton of avocado on the sandwich, but it still had a lot of good taste. The corn casrole thing was south-west flavored and ok I think if you added some tortilla strips above or some crispy it would be good. Other complaint was the terrace tables were too close together and it was so quiet and unpleasant to talk, and they accused me nine dollars to replace three shrimps for the fried chicken on the salad, my guilt I guess not to ask, but I guess it could not be more than 5. This made a $14 meal in a $23 that I was still hungry after dinner : But the service was nice and the food was good overall."

"We were excited to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner again here at Lago as we did last year and it did not disappoint! Although their holiday menu was the exact replica of last years menu for $75.00 per person, this year it was $90.00 per person ouch! The food was amazing and Nick always makes you feel welcomed. Amelia and the staff gave us excellent and attentive service. We will definitely be back."

"Came here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Small restaurant (less than 20 tables) plus bar seats and 2 outside tables. When I arrived, only three tables were occupied. One server for all tables plus another two staff behind the bar (who did not come out from behind the bar the entire time I was there). Ordered crab benedict and coffee. Food arrived promptly. It was good. Crab benedict tasty with an awesome curry sauce. The hash consists of seven small potato cubes, one piece each of yellow and red pepper and a slice of onion. No sauce, just individual pieces. Not quite what I imagined. Service problems: Server seemed to be friends with other two tables. Kept going over to chat with them and totally ignored me. Never once came back to ask how everything was, never once came back for coffee refill. Two other tables arrived while I was eating and she ignored them as well. I even gave my menu (which was never taken away) to the people at the next table since they never got menus when they sat down. When I went up to the register to pay, I was asked here to pick up an order the man was behind the bar the entire time and didn't notice that I was sitting at a table."

"I was thrilled to try to eat as I thought of this restaurant for my rehearsal, and the prices were good with decent choice. I was very disappointed at eating, but the drinks were good. burrata was just a ball of mozzarella, no saw inside, and in general it was very mediocre for the price. When they clog it, I am sure it buds well for the drunk taste, but go somewhere else if they want something more than that."

"Was looking forward to Carls and it was such a disappointment unfortunately. Front of house were friendly and happily moved us from the table by the entrance to a less draughty spot when we asked. Server was smiley and took our order efficiently. That 's where the good part ended sadly. Ordered Buffalo Wings, Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and 2 'Medium ' Burgers. Wings were tough. The chicken tasted old, definitely not fresh rotisserie. The end of the baguette was also hard again not fresh. Our 2 medium burgers arrived well done and rare. The server didn 't check in to see how the food was .... (maybe she knew! We offered our thoughts when asked if wanted more drinks. Solution offered was to put the rare burger back on the grill. Not ideal. No discount offered. I know it 's coming to the end of the season but this is fundamental stuff. Won 't be returning or recommending this place unfortunately."

"I’ve been coming to Trattoria every year for the past 5 around the holidays. The experience we had was horrible and utterly disappointing. Our server was a nightmare to deal with. He was extraordinarily condescending to our group and wanted nothing to do with giving us a positive experience throughout the entire meal. He told us it “wasn’t his job” to figure out what type of food we might like and danced around all of our questions as if it was a burden. We spent $500 on our meal to be belittled. For the locals and visitors- this place isn’t what it used to be."

"Just returned from a weekend trip at Kitty Knight and found the entire stay excellent! My wife and I were part of a group of eight friends who had gathered to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The Inn has so much history and the improvements recently made in and out are great. We were in room #1, over the river and it could not have been more beautiful. We had several meals on the deck and in the dinning room. Our group was very impressed by service and atmosphere. On Saturday afternoon we had appetizers and drinks outside on the deck as we were entertained by live music. The weather was excellent and it was great to enjoy the boats and the river. Our group had dinner on the side deck at Deep Blue, and again the food and service found to top notch. After dinner we moved into a smaller room from the dinning room, where our group relax and enjoy some drinks. Chris the GM, stopped by on several occasions to see if we needed something with our meals or accommodation. I would strongly recommend both the Inn and restaurant for people looking for a short holiday without driving hours in traffic. Thanks again to the entire staff Jim McBride"

"Luckily, we were seated promptly and our server, Ariana, brought us the menus and wine list. The menu had too many delicious-sounding options, and the wine list was small but good. My wife ordered the Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc, while I opted for the Chianti Riserva, which turned out to be really fantastic. The lightly toasted bread with balsamic and green onion dipping sauce was also a hit. For starters, we had the fried calamari with artichokes and asparagus, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had, with a fresh taste and a light crispy coating. The main course of Linguini Fruit de Mer with various seafood was also excellent, although I would have liked a bit more pasta and a warmer sauce. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed a delicious spumoni dessert with chocolate, strawberry, and pistachio flavors, a far cry from the mediocre spumoni I remembered from my childhood. We also had a pleasant conversation with a couple at the next table, Casey from Cotati and his date. Overall, it was a fun and leisurely dining experience, and we were able to leave by 7:45 despite our 6:45 reservation. If you haven't been to this restaurant yet, I highly recommend giving it a try!"
