"The Ham and Cheese Croissant was delicious! I prefer when the guts are baked inside and this is more of a sandwich situation, with the croissant cut in half and the innards stuffed in between. That being said- this was TOTALLY worth the throw of the dice. The béchamel made it for me. If you have textural issues with food and were on the fence about there being a "sauce" like I was- fret not. It was fully present in flavor but didnt give the overall mouthfeel a wet feeling at all. Full texture disclosure: outer edge of the bottom half of the croissant was a little soggy-bottomed from all the butter- but youre also eating a cheese sandwich on a butter pastry with a butter sauce- so its a tiny bit expected that there wont be perfectly dry, flakey layers on the bottom. Sorry no photo of the star of my review- it was too good to stop eating it! lol But everything was fire. Good bakery quality here, not your flaccid blond, improperly laminated wannabe pastries you find in doughnut or bagel shops. These are the real deal. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
