"Edge of the Woods has a wonderful selection of fresh produce and the largest vegan/vegetarian meal fixes around. The cosmetic section is full of organic, cruelty free products. The vitamin selection is overwhelmingly vast with any supplement you could wish for. There is a great selection of natural herbs, oils, self love and care products. Not to mention the book section!! I am in heaven! There is a wonderful selection of organic clothing, and the vegan/vegetarian bakery and deli is out of this world. Truly a great place!"

"I recently decided to order the delivery from here. the empanadas came hot and still crispy. I had several empanadas on my first order. the art of the empanada is written on the outside of the empanada. I love this sweet touch. it ensures a really cool unique design. I originally ordered the garnels, but it was not available. So I got an extra steak and onion-empanada. it was absolutely delicious. I'm glad I could have two of them. the steak is cut into pieces and is soft. it was really juicy. I also ordered the chicken and cheese and it was really delicious. my man got the cheeseburger he says he's really good. we also have the apple-emanadas that was absolutely delish. I also ordered the arepa con queso. the arepa was much thicker then I liked but it was still good. I've knocked it in a toast oven to create the cripple I was looking for. I also have two pan de leche, which was divine. the brot was fresh, soft and full of taste. I literally cut it into half, it a little roasted and eaten while I drink my Bustelo coffee in the morning. so good. overall this place was good. I'm glad I could get a few things and try different things. I look forward to ordering from here again and trying different menu items."

"Love the vibes and concept, but they were out of half the stuff we wanted to try and we had to send back our order twice due to mistakes on it. Other than that, it was great. Not awesome for picky eaters though, there's undisclosed spices on some of the food (at least what we ordered). Overall, we would visit again.Edit to add that the reservation was in my husbands name, which is why they commented unable to find it. Additionally, I reached out several times, and emailed per their comment below- it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything back. Very disappointed in management and their handling of this.Vegetarian options: A lot of the dishes are egg and meat based, so limited vegan and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly food options"

"My husband I stopped by for a late breakfast/lunch. I was a little leery because of reviews no need!! The staff is friendly, the food is fresh and delicious what?s more they offer gluten free options. Not a huge menu but often that means everything is fresh. I got coffee fresh squeezed oj (many other juices from juice bar). We both enjoyed the quiche of the day. It was homemade delicious! We will return."

"Booked a reservation weeks ago, when we got there they didn’t have a table for us and it was an hour wait. Which so happened to be the time they closed. They stuck us in a back room, with one small table. We needed up having to leave and go somewhere else because they couldn’t accommodate us. The manager was also “ too busy” to talk to us."

"I was blown away by this Brazilian restaurant! I decided to give it a shot in search of good Brazilian cuisine, and I have to say, I found my new go-to spot to eat in Connecticut. As a trucker from Philadelphia, it's difficult to find a quality restaurant, but this place deserves 100 stars. The atmosphere is also fantastic, with friendly staff and patrons. Everything on their menu is top-notch - I will definitely be returning."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent and full of flavor. The young man who served us was fantastic and explained that the menu changes daily, giving the food a homemade feel. He had a great vibe and made our first visit very enjoyable. My daughter and I had a delicious meal at a table, and then indulged in incredibly good vegan lemon cake and vegan chocolate brownie cake with walnuts for dessert. Thanks to ELife, I discovered a new drink that I will be looking for in the future. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend ELife to vegans, vegetarians, non-vegans, and non-vegetarians. It has become a new favorite for me. They also offer carryout and delivery, although I am located in VA."

"Good healthy vegan/vegetarian burrito restaurant (no actual meat to speak of other than vegan chicken and steak). I had the soft tacos. Had no idea the place was there (Vegaritos, according to the gentleman waiting on us, has only been open about 9 months) but we were glad we stopped in. Food was good and restaurant was clean. We will try this place again next time we are near Takoma Park."

"Monday, February According to Happy Cow the store opens at The I goth there at The door was locked but I could see a worker inside so I tapped on the door and asked if they were open. The worker mouthed that they were open at I already paid the meter and decided I’d wait outside for the minutes. As I waited, a man appeared about minute to and was waited a minute or so and walked away. Another man attempted to open the door and complained that the store should have been opened and how ridiculous it was that they were not open in time. A woman appeared about stating that she ate horribly the night before and needed to travel with her food for where she was going and wanted to have a healthy meal. She went next door to the party shop just like the man prior. Finally the worker comes to the door at walking slowly, she unlocks the door and walks away. What?! Really? No greetings no opening the door. No apologies for opening the door late. I asked her what kinds of food were prepared and she looks at me like I have two heads and says, “We don’t have any food ready.” I drove out of my way to get to the store. It’s cold outside and I was starving. Never again. Poor customer service and highly unprepared. If a patty shop can have patties ready at why the heck don’t they have their doors open and food ready? Totally disgusted."
