"During our visit, everything appeared pleasant and relaxed at the restaurant. When we decided to try a second glass of wine, I noticed a strong aroma and upon closer inspection, discovered four dead gnats at the bottom of the glass. When I called the waitress over, instead of apologizing and replacing the glass, she made excuses and did not offer a new one. This caused us to become very uncomfortable and we were ready to leave. The waitress continued to make excuses and tried to convince us that we were overreacting. We eventually had to ask for the glass to be removed from our bill. The fact that they continued to make excuses and even tried to charge us for the replacement glass that we did not want or drink was unacceptable. I am usually understanding of mistakes, but I cannot stand someone being pushy and making us feel wrong for their errors. This incident occurred on November 14th."
