"I 've been going here for 12 years. At that time it was one of the best bars in the neighborhood, but 2012 was a long time ago and that 's really not the case anymore. I was really excited when the Brooklyn Public House owners bought it, but there 's basically no resemblance between the two bars. The food at Swan is downright bad; pretty clear they just heat up cheap frozen food. Either there is no AC or they just don 't turn it on. They advertise $5 well drinks at happy hour, but if you add something to it (like getting a vodka soda instead of just vodka) it becomes a cocktail and then its $10. Not a ton of options in this part of the neighborhood (esp with Swell Dive closing) but maybe just walk an extra block to Do or Dive instead?"
