"If you avoid restaurants because of the children's names, please throw your hand. I admit, I was also like this until I was drawn through the amazing smell of chicken soup from Chicken Pho You's San Mateo branch. Unfortunately, they are no longer open in SM, so imagine my joy when I found another branch in Millbrae! I love noodle soups and this place serves my second favorite dish. Cilantro, green onions, boneless chicken, a fat serving of noodles, and piping hot soup. So easy and so good! The chicken soup here seems somewhat different from other chicken pho I had; the taste seems cleaner. It reminds me of the childhood and a bit of the soup you get from Hainan chicken rice sets. Get a little bit when you try this place because there is a deceptive amount of noodles. I say that as someone who gets cats easily and loves noodles. It's a GENEROUS part. Ascending brings me back to the time as a restaurant child. Chatter, customers, service and food."
