"Came here for a birthday dinner, and was blown away by the quality of food, wonderful service, and general ambiance. Definitely pricey, but well worth it. Ashley was enthusiastic, kind, and great at giving descriptions of the dishes — she helped make an incredible food experience even better. A fantastic place for special occasions!"

"We were stuck eating here while staying at Trump Hotel as it was the only restaurant open. Waited 35 minutes before we got our drinks and had to ask again for them. Edamame came out a while later and it was clearly frozen, thawed and over steamed, some even looked rotten. How do you mess up edamame? Sushi was mediocre, at best. We ordered the steak (supposedly a 10 oz New York strip) and it was the worst steak we’ve ever had. Bland and looked like it came from Sizzler (in fact, Sizzler may be better). Waiter was trying, but he was overworked and he didn’t know what vegetables were being served as a side (it was on the menu as a side and he just said “it’s always the same vegetables” and I asked what vegetables they were and he said he didn’t know… We expected much more and were highly disappointed. We ended up leaving before our last sushi roll even arrived, which I think they missed anyway."

"Best birthday dinner surprise!!! I have to wait for it and it has not disappointed!! The ambience is amazing! Cosy, but you feel like in your own private space! Service was fantastic and fast and the food was stellar! We shared sushi, rays and a pigmeat dinner and we both stayed full of remnants! Sushi was the best I had! I can't wait to go back!"

"The food at this restaurant is average and nothing special worth mentioning. If you don't enjoy sweet sauce, the pizzas may not be to your liking. The Mount Lebanon location is superior. In addition to the average food, the very slow service was another reason for the low rating. It was well below our expectations and didn't provide a positive view of the restaurant. We haven't returned since and don't plan to anytime soon."

"We came here recently with my MIL. We all love Japanese food and have enjoyed dining at Yellowtail in the past.We have young kiddos, and as we were ordering and waiting, the owner came over to say hi and interact with them. He was so kind, friendly and genuine--he drew in and engaged my kiddos in a very sweet and personable way. They are both on the spectrum but he was so fun, and folded origami for each of them (a fish for one, a bird for the other) and kept them occupied and enthralled.The food was delciious, and throughout the meal he came over to check on us. My kiddos split a bento and ate it all, and when he found out that they loved the tofu in the miso soup, he went off to get more!The food we ordered was all good, but the owner's attention to us and my kids is what compels me to give this restaurant 5 stars. It was all so genuine and you could tell that he honestly loves his customers."
