"Tasty Sushi was our first culinary experience since the pandemic and it was not disappointed. We had to wait for a while on the table, but after our order the food came out quickly and at the right temperature. The salad and soup offered with the hibachi entree were standard and the hibachi entree itself was very delicious, as the restaurant name suggests. My partner ordered the herbal spring roll remover and the ninja roll, both of which he said very well. Tasty Sushi is close to X-treme Wheels roller track so we come back to have dinner before we skate there on Thursday."

"since the return to long beach, bai plu has quickly become my favorite place thai place. my Spice dogs, they didn't come to play around! her pad kee mao, or drunk noodles is where it is (a perfect balance of spicy, tangie and sweet.) Tofu lovers and vegetarians equally will be happy to know that bai plu is happy to use these delicious bean curds as their protein in their dressed."

"reasons for low rating:1. to salty any dish and unnecessary vinegar.2 slow service (15 min before the first court, and 30 min before all directed), but a mandatory 15% service fee.3 even if the service fee is included, still has left an option for tips. this is not correct, let us honestly customer = and here is something very personal. we visited this restaurant a year ago, this place was superrrr good. great courts, great service, friendly staff and reasonable price. we came to this restaurant 2 times in 2 days and had great memory. once we came after the surf and were super hungry and got incredibly satisfied with the dressed here. only today we have the opportunity to visit santa cruz again, and we came directly into this restaurant. but everything has changed in a terrible way. I don't know what it did so differently, because the menu is exactly what we were given 1 year ago. I feel very sad about this change, I hope it's just because it's the 4th. juli holiday is caused by sub-size. not give a star because I still hope that they can get back the original quality. sincere"

"I ordered the Penang curry. It is not made with coconut milk and is quite oily. It also come with peppers and eggplant. When I inquired about a possible mistake, they sounded confused and confirmed the ingredients. I would not recommend this meal if you are expecting Penang curry."

Meh: Huge variety like 15 pages on the menu) Friend ofine has been telling me about Bai Plu Thai Sushi bar for the longest time now. Finally got a chance to try it out. I was a bit leary with the sushi because, in my experience, se sushi joints that don't specialize in sushi usually tend not to have the best quality fish. I was wrong on this count. This fish quality was good, with no fishy smell, so it passes the smell test and taste test. And also being a Thai restaurant that serves sushi, you never know what the Thai food is going to be like. Verdict: Good. We ended up ordering Pad Se Ew with beef $16.99), Papaya salad $14.99), Panang curry with chicken $15.99), spicy eggplant basil with chicken $15.99). Oh, let's not forget about the Mango sticky rice $14.99). All delicious and definitely flavors you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. Service was attentive and quick. Although family friendly, not really built for strollers. But I would definitely come back on the near future."

"100% extraordinary sushi and 100% cordial/helpful service. I’m here for work and I’m from NC and was skeptical about getting sushi in the middle of America. After being seated most of my skepticism was deceased due to super duper friendly service. Then I ate my first piece of sushi and immediately felt all of the absolute wonderful emotions that we get while savoring a beautiful/fresh/tender piece of fatty salmon. Anyone local or not looking for some sensational sushi and phenomenal service you’ve stumbled across the right place. In my somewhat diverse experience nationwide with sushi. "I tried this place for the first time as take out via BeyondMenu. The ordering process was fine. It was for Saturday night ASAP and pretty sure it was ready before the predicted time. I had checked off to text me when the order is ready but never received any text? Oh well. The food I got was 2 types of dumplings. They were juicy, hot, and tasted good. I do think the Mama Dumplings had a bit overload of chives lol. But that is probably my only issue. I appreciate that the Peking Raviolis were the thick wrap since it's how I love them to be. And they were regular sized thankfully instead of bite size like some places do nowadays that are such a rip off. Anyway I don't know how the rest of their food is but I'm curious to try it."

"We got House special Hunan delight and it was so hot and spicy we could not eat it. I called Golden Chopsticks to tell them it was not edible. She said I ordered it extra spicy ?️ I explained I did not and spent $35 to have Door Dash deliver and could not eat it. She insisted all her customers like it extra spicy and in the future to tell them REGULAR for less spicy. Wouldn’t you think that if you ordered it it would just be regular? Why would me ordering it mean I want extra spicy? I promise you my husband eats hot and spicy food and he could not even eat it. I do not recommend. We have ordered Hunan pork and Hunan chicken and Hunan shrimp at many other restaurants and never have we had this occur."

"Great place to eat some good Japanese food. The kids loved the golden California roll, and I really loved the spicy salmon roll. The red snapper that my wife had was delicious. And my katsu ramen was fantastic. Staff seemed a little bit busy so there were some minor details missed, other than that we had a great time. Great place to bring the family, or meetup with friends. Insider tip: don't sit in the booths facing the door at sunrise. Every time someone would open the door I would get a sun burst blast in the face. Literally a blinding experience! Parking: Lots of parking in a big lot."
