"Our food finally arrived and was lukewarm, except for the rice side dish, which was exceptionally hot. I do not like to complain and we were famished, so we started eating. I had ordered steak and grew more and more frustrated because it went cold quickly. My husband’s steak skewer and yuca fries were also cold. We should have stopped eating and just sent it back, but the waitress turned out to be someone who knew me from school. We tried to be nice, but couldn’t eat our dinner. We asked for the manager. We told her about our experience and she told us she was watching the time on our food and it wasn’t that late. And then she said she’d take care of it, as she lifted my plate of only half eaten steak and almost full bowl of rice and took it away. What she did was give us a 20% discount. Seriously? I hardly ate any food! We will not be going back to Mesa anytime soon. Just a complete and utter disappointment!"
