"In the city visit the area and reservations for breakfast / brunch. Enjoy the atmosphere very lightly airy and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. We decided to dive and had no problem to sit down, but there was a very generous covered terrace with many options as well. The drinks card and the dishes were perfect. Really something for everyone. Great brunchspot, but can be a bit expensive on the drinks. Group lovers include avocado and toast, french toast bread pudding and avocado tomatoes omelet. Cheers!"

"I came here with my family to celebrate mother’s day , we were seating at approximately reservation was set for but that’s no problem , we order our appetizers and they took minutes to come out. I was disappointed to see less than chicken wings on myplate with a side of onlytwo celery sticks ! the appetizers costed me nearly Then we order our entrees , I ordered a chicken parmesan , my brother ordered a chicken parmesan sandwhich , and my mother ordered a shrimp pasta , our food approximately took minutes, not terrible but still a wait , then to receive our food COLD ! , i took a couple bites of the pasta that was room temperature , unacceptable ! For all that wait I should’ve received fresh food. My brother also experienced cold food! the experience was not what I expected"

"Haven’t been here in a couple years. And was unfortunately left wanting when I returned. The entrees just felt like they were missing something. Not enough salt, and overcooked steak were disappointing. The lighting in the restaurant was just a bit too dim. Almost movie theater dim. The restaurant was spacious, and had nice art. But that about all I can say positively. Wish I could say better things."

"Exceeded expectations. Quality and fresh ingredients cooked directly to order with texture and bright colors. It’s not just rice and beans, but rice and beans done right with unique additions and flavors added in. Would’ve liked more shrimp per order but the whole plate is a step, if not two, beyond typical flavors in this cuisine! Looking forward to trying more of their wide variety in the future."
"when we asked for extra napkins were told there were none. ordered ooey gooey cake for dessert, which has ice cream on it, we were told there were no spoons so we had to use forks. In defense, it was mother's day and the university graduation, but cant understand how a restarant runs out of spoons at 1230 during lunch. Lunch was ok...nothings special."

"The last time we were there, we had some problems. I was given a a couple of $25.00 gift cards to come back. Yesterday was that day. 1st, you should not have service people working in three different areas in the restaurant at the same time. They tend to have to cover too much ground and the food suffers. The ribs were pink on the inside and dry, not hot, and tough on the outside. I had a simple burger with sweet potato fries. I got regular fries and they weren’t hot. I asked for soup without chives, I love only got chives, but the soup was cold enough for me to stand my spoon up in it. My wife got a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, but again the sweet potato fries were not hot. The waitress kept apologizing to me, and it wasn’t her fault. I’m very sorry, but I don’t think we can come to your restaurant anymore. I left the waitress pretty decent tip because it wasn’t her fault. You can’t have servers working three different parts of the restaurant and expect the people to get their food on time and hot. I’ve been coming there since that place opened and I’ve never been as disappointed as I was the last two times including yesterday that we’ve been there. "the restaurant and the menu were pretty good. it is a little expensive for the portions, but overall not too bad. the fork knife steak sandwich I had was delicious, although there might be 2 3 ounces of meat on it and the baguette book on which it was sitting was about 1/4 thick. the others on my table said their burgers and pastas were also very good. I thought it was funny that when I came home, I had a message about my answer machine from the restaurant because I was 45 minutes too late for my reservation. I sat in the restaurant when the call had eaten my dinner. I guess they don't pay much attention to their online reservations when they sit. overall it was a good meal and very comfortable because we went to second city after dinner and we could just go through the back door there and not go in the rain outside."

"Celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner and Josh made it such a beautiful experience for us and our two sons! We enjoyed a pitcher of Sangria which was made perfect, 2 orders of lobster baked macaroni, spicy beef cannolis and primavera pasta. 3 orders of red velvet cake and a slice of pecan cheesecake. Delightful! Thank you for a wonderful Saturday evening! We will be back!"

"Setting up the reservation online was so easy. I had to change the time number in the group an hour or so before the actual reservation they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The table was ready when we arrived. So many choices on the menu. Our waitress Dynasty was so friendly patient. We did not feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back!"

"After writing a poor review, based on three prior experiences We once again visited FHP. Shortly after my review, I was contacted by the ownership of this unique eatery. They assured me they were aware of the issues outlined in my review and told me they were working on them. To be honest my concerns had nothing to do with that pie... a true God send, of biblical proportions. This is pizza head and shoulders above any other I've eaten. Our last vist proved me wrong on my original review. A smooth evening of service and attention.... And that Pie OMG! FHP is a true success story. They promised to work on issues and delivered. No pun intended. I'm a foodie and love to be proven wrong Chef Manzo Thank You."

"I go here often, and want to support their business and it 's with a heavy heart and even heavier stomach I have to say that their food is alright but I would avoid them completely on sundays, during any busy time or near closing. Every time I order food during one of these times my order is either wrong, undercooked/messed up or i literally get food poisoning (im up at 4 am completely sick from their food as i write this. One time my farmer 's mac and cheese advertised with pulled pork and caramelized onions came with raw onion (gross and a giant piece of gristle pork in the middle. I 've gotten multiple pork burritos that have made me sick, and I 've had quite a few burgers that were so undercooked i had to spit my bite out and throw the entire thing away at home after paying. I now exclusively order food from here medium well/well done because if you don 't they will serve you food that 's almost cold inside. Even my well done burger was almost too rare to eat. I understand that it 's a fad to have rare meat but when someone says MEDIUM they don 't want RARE. It 's not even safe to consume ground beef or pork that 's undercooked and yet it 's served to me constantly from this restaruant after paying 20 or so bucks. I 've had to almost completely stop ordering chicken or bacon because i 've gotten raw bacon numerous times and either undercooked or woody chicken EVERY TIME. I don ' 't understand how the quality control can be so poor. I 've been eating here consistently for years and it 's baffling. I can only hope this feedback will get whatever needs to be gotten in line because if I get sick again i am changing this review to say avoid at all costs. As it is, take it from someone who goes here often the food is a GAMBLE. I hate to have to say that but that 's my experience. All the wait staff are great though, the service has been good every time i 've been there but the kitchen either needs someone new in charge or better safety standards because it 's not reasonable to get food poisoning this much from a restaruant. The tables are very grimy and sticky constantly also, i don 't think it 's from a lack of cleaning because i always see the wait staff scrubbing away at the tables before people sit down. The whole restaruant kind of has a dirty feel to it and not in a rustic folksy way, more like a did the health inspector actually do their job? kind of way. *EDIT* i forgot that if you get side portions of certain sides (cole slaw for example they try to give you a tiny plastic container of cole slaw (maybe 2 bites total for 3.50. every time i 've caught it, i 've asked them for an actual appropriate amount of a side, but i HAVEN 'T caught it many times because i shouldn 't have to check to make sure my food is correct EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. *edit 2* the owner responded and said they moved on from their last kitchen manager 4 hours ago, but the bad food i ate was 12 hours ago so unless they moved on this morning i find this highly suspect"
