"This is my second time ordering from this place. Im pregnant and craving some good jamaicain dish. The first time the order was missing items but this time around the oxtail was so hard, I couldnt even eat it. I also chose a side of plantain and got two slices of plantain with my meal. I really wanted to givethis place a try but you can't pay $30 for a meal that sucks."

"Saw good stories on their Instagram figure I'd check it out on memorial day weekend was not crowded order a frozen rum punch took a while too come rum punch was not good at all went on too order appetizers ordered shrimp and calamari and Buffalo wingsthe calamari was so bad completely over cooked the shrimp was good the wings trash breaded with way too much sauce. Stillwanting too give this spot a chance I ordered main course and another drink b4 I ordered the bartender who was also waitingtables along with 1 other waiting who looked like he was not even old enough to be the gave me a list of all the things theywere out of no lamb chops no skirt Steak etc. so I ordered the rib eye medium with veggies and mash after about a 45 min wait the steak came out very well done and it was about 85% FAT the worst peice of steak I ever had in my life! Also ordered frozencasamigo margarita also not good. Long story short I had very high hopes for this spot and was highly disappointed definitelywill not be returning I am a very big supporter of Brooklyn BLACK OWNED restaurants and lounge unfortunately I will not be abletoo support this spot."

"Hate to do this. Let me first say the flavor of everything was great but the follow through of the order and portion size etc. was less than desirable. Ordered the jerk chicken which was very very good but the portion of chicken was SUPER small. As soon as I placed the order they called me to tell me they didnt have the 2 sides I ordered. I chose two that I did not want but thats all they had. It then took well over an hour to get jerk chicken, Mac and cheese, and yams. The Mac and cheese was fine the yams were literal mush/similar to baby food consistency and only tasted like brown sugar-it could have been pie. I dont like to hate on places like this but when I called asking about my order being late the woman was quickly trying to get me off the phone rather than listen to my question and resolve the issue."
