"Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I were placed at a table away from everyone close to the bathroom. I noticed immediately and felt discriminated against, although we were not the only Black people in the restaurant at the time. However, our waiter made the experience pleasant and was very efficient. The food and drinks were delicious! Honestly not sure if I would return, and if I do, I would just sit directly at the bar."

"We really love this place. We came in Wednesday evening. No one greeted us when we walked in the door and when someone finally came, it was very unwelcoming. We usually come at least 2-3 times a month and to be treated the way we were was unacceptable. The worst part of this whole visit was that we hyped up about it and brought our friend from out of state and it was embarrassing to be disappointed the way it all went down. They lost our food order, when we asked for ginger and wasabi, it was a bothersome to the server. We literally had to reach over and grab soy sauce from the bar area were they refill them. I think the worst part of the experience was when we ordered, they brought the check to the table before the food arrived. To spend a lot of money and be treated the way we were… let’s just say we we might not come back and hope the owner reads these reviews and gets back to me."

"First time to Chimi’s and it was good. I always try the beef fajitas on my first visit to a Mexican restaurant. It came with beans, rice; guacamole, pico de gallo, green and red bell peppers and onions. Most of the beef was tender and juicy. The meat didn’t have the limey taste or enough spice to elevate the taste to a 5 star level. Our server provided us excellent service. I like the brightness of all the colors in the dining area. I will be back to try other items including their margaritas."

"Literally the worse tacos I've ever had in my life...and that is saying A LOT! I had carnitas. Carnitas are meant to be flavorful, tender, pulled pork. I had dry, flavorless, cubes of fat with 1/4 of chopped onions. I examined the cubes, and 60-70% was nothing but PURE FAT, not even a sign of actual meat. The guac was 65% onion, the green salsa was devoid of flavor and was a bright green color which was alarming. Atmosphere was cold and barren and rather dirty to be honest. I've been eating Mexican food for 50 years, being born in San Diego and raised in LA...but even compared to the Mexican offerings in Ireland and London where I lived for 15 years, this ranks BELOW. "Bread and Butter is exceptional! Would really recommend it especially for those who likes peaceful and well organized place. I always go here whenever I have my free time. the ambiance of the place is really amazing and the vibes always sets up my mood. It is just very calming and really gives me the peace that I look for. Their foods are also very immaculate. Affordable yet would already solve your cravings. I always go for their hash brown, Sunday, toast, eggs bacon, and banana bread. Would really recommend this to all of you to try! All are well-seasoned, delicious and tasty. Their size portion is neat as well and really sets off the deal. They have an absolutely perfect breakfast ambiance and the atmosphere of this place is great. Their service as well. Their staff are very much cooperative, friendly, kind, patient and professional. Great place, neat people to be with and their foods are on point! Thank you for the wonderful experience and awesome service guys! You all really made my experience better and unforgettable. "Very good service. Waiters were very attentive, although it was very busy. The food was great. Only retreat were the toilets in urgent need of restoration on the bar side of the restaurant. Parking was a little hectic, as there was only a number of parking spaces on the side of the stripe mall and several on the other side of the stripe mall, it should have been reversed because this was the busiest storage on the stripe mall. I charged $30-50 per person as our bill, because for 3 people the bill was $90, which contained 4 margaritas and an iced tea."

"Service is on the point, we sat immediately before our butts hit the seat, bam, chips and salsa were on the table!!! Wow! This place is right on the street from our Son College and we thought for a late lunch, the food was good, the service amazing, but the Michaelada?s brought us back for another round. These were the best Michaelada? I've ever had, they're a must try and I recommend it very much? We had both servers super friendly and efficient. Our orders were taken quickly and food was in no time. We have learned that this is a family business that we like to support!!! If we return to Burbank? we will be back!!!"
