"This was our first time trying this place out and it didn’t disappoint! It looked like maybe just a few people working but WOW they did a fabulous job doing EVERYTHING! Our waitress did great as she was the only one but our drinks were always full and she made sure we had everything we needed. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and they were cleaning tables and also cleaned a high chair for us using a new rag! This place was very clean and the food was so fresh! From the chips, salsa, dip and all the food we ordered was outstanding! Margaritas were also delicious! Highly recommend!"

"The Mexican restaurant is truly wonderful! I adored the decor and theme, which offers a cultural exploration into history. They also offer a delicious Tres Leches dessert for only $4 per piece, which is half the price of other restaurants. Although I didn't have the opportunity to dine in, I will definitely be returning in the future."

"I went here on my lunch break and got my food within 15 minutes. They had Tuesdays tacos special that I got. I got the shrimp tacos ?. It was coconut shrimp deep fried with some tomatoes and coriander leaves with some sauce. There was no lime or lemon ? which was a shame because seafoods need lime or lemon. This food was a calorie boom ?. I wouldn’t recommend shrimp tacos unless it’s grilled. It was also tasteless and oily."

"Ate here with my dad. The fajitas were great, and the two salsas (red and green) were fantastic. Better than most salsas I 've had, and if you know Mexican food, you know salsas are a great touchstone for what 's to come. The owners are a husband and wife and the wife was our server. She was incredibly nice and we enjoyed our meal. The name Quetzally means Beautiful in Nawat. Try it out! I 'll definitely come again next time I 'm in Philadelphia."

"The food was good. We ordered the chip and salsa for the kids to get started with since El Mitote did not have a kid’s menu. The children shared the chicken quesadilla, which was enough for three kids. My husband’s enchilada Suiza was amazing. My Comida corrida platter with shrimp was great too. One minor thing was that they did not have a high chair for my little one, and we did not recall hearing any good music sitting outdoor. They did not have fajitas, which is my go-to entree in Mexican restaurants usually. The plates seemed to be all plastic, which was colorful but I don’t like plastic personally."

"Everything is authentic deliciousness Shrimp Ceviche, Guacamole, Salsa, Queso, Green Chicken Enchiladas, Steak Tacos, Beef Taco Salad, Beef Quesadilla, Churros...all yummy and generous portions. Always fresh, home cooked goodness!"

"After seeing the advertisement, I decided to try the food at this restaurant. I am glad I did because I now enjoy stew chicken and the macaroni and cheese was amazing. This restaurant deserves a 10-star rating. I have dined at many different places and I truly appreciated my experience at this restaurant. Additionally, the rum punch with its unique seasonings was a delightful treat."

"Combo 3 (3 Birria Tacos w/ Consome) always worth it. The beef literally pulls apart. Paired with the soup which I recommend dipping the taco into makes the dish exponentially mouthgasm. If you haven't tried it's a must. The horchata is the best in the upper west."

"The flavors at this restaurant are truly exceptional. It is the best Taco Tuesday deal I have ever experienced, the tacos someone. I do wish the margarita was a bit stronger, but overall it was amazing."
